This company counts on the fact that Americans do not understand nor have the correct facts about current healthcare legislation. I received a call from their call center and they wanted to set up a time for an agent to talk to me. Before they did that, I asked “Are your health care plans compliant with the Affordable Care Act, which is also known as Obama care.” The woman said yes, they were. She was either misinformed or just trying to schedule a call. The next week the agent called me. Before we got into the details, I asked him if the plans for ACA compliant because I was only interested in plans that were compliant. He said no before asking me why I only wanted an ACA plan. I explained to him that I liked the benefits of ACA plans and that while currently the tax for not having an ACA plan wasn’t being enforced, that could change at any moment and it’s still the law. Instead of taking my answer and saying thank you, he responded in a very condescending tone, “Benefits? Like paying higher premiums?“ At this point I was very frustrated and insulted because he was implying that I did not understand ACA plans and that they have no benefits, which is not true. The ACA is not perfect, however it does cover prenatal care for pregnant women, which is what’s known as A BENEFIT. When I reached out to the company on Twitter to share my experience, there was radio silence. It really irks me that this company is further politicizing healthcare (do we really need more division in our country?) and trying to make money off of it and uneducated/misinformed consumers. In the event I change my mind and want a different healthcare plan, I will not be purchasing it from US Health.

dont! the salesman will tell you what you want to hear..then you actually have to deal with them! i bought insurance but kept my current plan in place until this policy went into effect..during the wait my daughter had a little knee pain which an mri told us it may come back but not serious enough to treat now but if it comes back we may have to do surgery..i called Freedom Life to see if that would be covered and they said no since i did not mention it on the application its considered a pre-existing condition..i said then we will just our current policy i wanted to cancel..on July 5th they told me to expect a refund of 439.00 which should take about 14 days..on Aug 18th i decided to call and check on refund..was told there was a glitch and it was not processed. Janna told me she would take care of it thursday and it would be mailed out Friday...I called monday Aug 22nd only to find out that was not true ..the check was not mailed out. I asked when it would be and they were not sure..after 30 min on hold finally got a new supervisor Stacy who told me she would overnight the checks...i dont have a lot of faith in that since she was unable to provide a tracking number...i would not do business with this company..if they cant handle a refund how are they going to handle an actual claim...lesson learned and it appears i should have read the reviews before buying...

I have been in the business for MANY MANY years. I do not work for this company tho. Here is my advice. First when an agents sits in front of you. Make sure he/she puts everything in writing. Second, read the information provided, prior to signing anything. Third, Make sure you understand exactly what you are getting for what you are paying. Last If you feel you are mislead, then contact the Insurance Department, file a complaint against the agent for misrepresentation and get the bad agents out of this business. If you google some of the people that are giving 5 stars you will find they are actually agents for the company. With all that said, quit looking at the premiums being so low, read the information provided, call the company to insure your self as to what you are actually buying and what you actually were promised by the agent. If it is too low of a premium, remember that nothing is free in life and question why it is so low. You do indeed get what you pay for...

The only good thing I could say about them is their call center, customer service is always professional and they tried to follow up with you and your request, the problem is the company itself and their terms... Is unfortunate to know that companies like FREEDOM LIFE INSURANCE exist, where they fish you and when you are in need of coverage they look for all avenues to decline your claim... So if you are planning on joining, at least know that they DO NOT COVER "PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS" so if you did not knew you have something, still it is considered Pre-exising" and I WILL NOT BE COVERED... to make it worse, they do not comply with the affordable care act minimum requirements... so, you will have to pay a penalty on your taxes anyways... If you are looking toward debating a company forever, this is the best place to be... but for those in need of medical assistance, NOT RECOMMENDED.

So i did tons of research before making this decision and if you DONT qualify for government subsidies, and arent sick as a dog full of pre existing conditions, this insurance ends up being way more economical. Your premium is like 1/2 of what a market place carrier is, and tehres no deductible. They have a service, CallMD, which lets you get basic antibiotics from a self diagnosis process with a registered nurse by calling a hotline so you dont ever have to enter a doctors office. The only issue I had was getting some doctors to recognize the insurance, i guess soemtimes it goes by different names, either PHCS Multiplan PPO or Multiplan PPO, or Private Healthcare System PPO Network, so make sure you try the different names bceause ive had some doctors office tell me they dont accept it when in fact they really do sometimes. THIS IS NOT HEALTH INSURANCE, I PURCHASED A PPO PLAN. THIS IS JUST A DISCOUNT PLAN, NOBODY ACCEPTS IT. I AM IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION AND CAN NOT GET IT BECAUSE OF THE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. I WENT TO A NETWORK HOSPITAL, CALLED THE INSURANCE COMPANY PRIOR TO GOING, I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WERE NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE FOR ME. i RECEIVED A BILL FOR 247.00 AND WAS INFORMED THAT ANOTHER 500.00 BILL WAS ON THE WAY. FREEDOM COVERED 193.00 WHICH WAS REFERRED TO AS A DISCOUNT AND THE BALANCE WAS MY RESPONSIBLILTY. I ALSO PAID ALMOST 300.00 FOR A VISIT TO THE DENTIST. IT IS MY PLAN TO GO TO THE INSURANCE COMMISSION. I WAS TOLD THAT IS WAS A PPO PLAN WITH DENTAL AND EYE COVERAGE. I AM GOING TO REQUEST THAT THEY LISTEN TO THE TAPE OF EVERY CALL MADE TO THIS SCRAM COMPANY. I HATE THIS COMPANY

I personally have had this coverage for over 2 years. One thing I can say is that its nice to have benefits that work right away on a PPO plan. My plan has worked well in limiting my exposure with claims. I like not having to satisfy a deductible to get benefits. We also have an option to call a doctor 24/7 for basic consultations and prescriptions if needed. That feature alone has allowed us to save time and money going back and forth to the doctor. I would recommend this plan for anyone who can qualify with good health. It has reduced my financial exposure and given me the ability to have maximum benefits if a crisis should every arise. Way better flexibility than any of my previous plan that I was on.

My family and I have this company for our health coverage. We love having the ability to see any doctor and choose any hospital for treatment without the insurance company telling us we are out of network. My husband was hospitalized last year for 5 days and had emergency surgery and our plan worked exactly the way our agent explained it to us. The customer service aspect that the agent has offered is refreshing and she was able to help us save over $400 a month. I’ve also used the 24 hour-ask a doctor-CallMD feature of this plan, which helps avoid Urgent Care visits or taking time off work to go to see a doctor. I love this company and highly recommend this product.

Scam,Scam,Scam, Do not use this Ins. Company. The insurance rep came to my house and lied about everything. This Insurance Company does not cover anything, found it difficult to find anyone that excepts this insurance.I called the Insurance Company ,they emailed a list of doctors that excepted this Insurance and when I called all these doctors they said they do not take this insurance . I have paid them $321.00 a month for the last two years and I want my money back !! If you are thinking about getting this Insurance Company I hope you read all these reviews , and change your mind now ! I wish I would have read them first. I will report them to BBB.

I’ve been paying this company 248$ a month for the past year and today I went to the doctor for a yearly check up to find out they didn’t cover any of my last 2 wellness visits!! They never explained that I’m only allowed 3 wellness visits when I purchased the claim or I would’ve never went with them in the first place! It would be cheaper just to pay the doctor myself so today I canceled the plan after giving these scammers tons of money I still have to pay the doctors as well! DO YOUR RESEARCH before buying their plan these people are complete liars and scammers! They need to be reported!

I have this coverage and its great. No referral letter needed to see a specialist and my last visit cost me nothing (almost a $300.00 bill)! Never had a problem finding a doctor or hospital that accepts my network. My deductible options are great as well. My chiropractic visits are around $10.00. I was able to use this coverage in NY as well with no problems. Also customer service is fantastic...called numerous times and never had a problem finding the info I needed. My agent is great as well. I recommended this insurance to many friends who have and let me tell you, they love it!

I have had these folks for insurance for a several years and love the organization. My wife had a recent heart issue that would have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thankfully, I had US Health advisors and actual had nothing out of pocket thanks to the benefits package that actual covered me when we needed it. I am blessed to have a company that saved us from a bankruptcy situation had we not had US Health Advisors. I buy insurance for "the what if"? situations and that was exactly what they provided my family. God Bless

Absolutely horrible place to work for. No one has your back if you mess up even the slightest thing that could be fixed, or something that happened because of all the holes in their systems. And the training....i think we got more training on how to write in cursive in elementary school as kids than these employees do ob the policies and procedures of their scum filled sysystems they use. Think twice before working here or using their services.
