My husband and I purchased a home with the aid of the phenomenal staff of Northstar Funding. They worked with us from beginning to end; pre-approval to closing. We were both new to home purchasing, and were very much unfamiliar with the process and requirements of acquiring a mortgage. Not only did Joey, Mike D., and Rhodora make the process easy and pleasant; but, they also locked in a competitive rate. The rate was far better than what my bank of 20 years was willing to offer me. Considering our time was consumed with work and house hunting, Northstar was able to work with us via phone, email, and fax. I am a real estate investor and have taken out more than 25 mortgages and they are the worst. I wanted a stated income cash out loan. In 3 months they are still not done. Every time they asked for something I provided it the same day. The mortgage broker William Kumpf NEVER answered his phone except for the initial call. He only sends text messages. He is not good with e-mails either just text. He claimed he would call me 3 weeks ago with questions about other properties but I am still waiting. Supposedly I was approved for this loan. I went to another lender and got cash in 10 days
