I recieved $210.00 on an accout that was $23.00 over the limit. I have called sevceral times trying to reach someone about this matter. I spoke with someone on 6/1/2015 whom took my complanit and stated I would be contacted later on that day regaurding my complaint, know one returned my call. I called on 6/2/2015 to follow up on the call I made on 6/1/2015, the person I spoke with at 8:00am on 6/2/2015 assured me that I would be contacted in 2 hours and she put priority on the note. At 1:00pm on 6/2/2015 I had no response so I called to follow up and the CSR stated that their are no notes on the account (Which is not True considering) The CSR from earlier today read me the notes off of the account from the previous day. I think the CSR name was Reka (sure its not spelled correct but You get the idea and can narrow it down). Reka was rude!!!!! But i still tried to explain that I did not sign up for overdraft protection, & she stated that the card would not decline if previous funds where put on hold (Previous Transactions) which I dont understand how this is possible. It seems like this bank does this in order to make money off of their customers. I asked to be transfered to a supervisor who stated on the voicemail that she was out asked to talk to someone else she stated that is the only person I can talk to. Due to me being at work I can not sit and wait in the lobby of this Bank like I did for 45 mins before being helped upon opening the account and the for an Hour when I had to change my address two weeks ago. This is the worst customer service I have every recieved and will be closing this account and filling a complaint with the BBB ASAP. I would also not recommend anyone to bank with this credit union.

It is so sad that I am a hard working person and this facility makes money off people for a dime or penny. Customer service is bad. I went to withdraw from my savings account and it stated I did not have any money in it. So it let me get the amount out of my checking because I knew there was money. I looked at my account and it stated I was 209.00 negative in my checking. I went to my account on line and there was money in my savings. I then withdrew the amount and put it back in my checking which in turn still had me 36.00 negative. I used my card and had money at the time of the transactions but was still charged 30.00 for a 5 dollar and something transaction and another 30.00 for a 40.00 gas transaction. It appears that the bank has no understanding of their customers. I have loans and never had that problem with their customer service. Most banks and credit unions have an understanding of their customers. I never call or try to ask for credit it I was wrong. If this happens with everyone the credit union is making a killing. I know customers that have been charged 30.00 for less than a dollar. This is not fair treatment to their customers.

Well over a decade ago, Grandma opened up savings accounts for all of us grandkids. They have served us well. Today I arrived with a flat tire, a dead cell phone, and a check to deposit. They efficiently made the deposit and gave me my balance and then directed me to their sitting area where they have a phone for their customers to use. I was able to call someone to help me. I am so impressed that this bank provides a sitting area and a phone for their customers. So many places assume everyone has a working cell phone. Another thoughtful perk they provide to their customers is a magazine they mail out with fun business stories and money managing tips. Thank you Magnolia!

I have a loan with Magnolia and can say they were the most disorganized outfit I have ever dealt with. The rate was fabulous and I know why. You have to put up with a ton of junk to get it done! Branches should have independent managers that can answer a question without having to call someone at the mothership. As a person who consults in the area of streamlining processes, I can honestly say that MFCU would TRIPLE their business if they focused on making the customer FIRST! That means managers: listen to your employees that engage the customer every day, improve customer service and streamline the loan process. Good luck guys.

This is the worse bank in the world. The customer service is HORRIBLE . No one knows anything. They never return calls. They are VERY VERY VERY VERY slow. 4 tellers have to assist one customer while a line is waiting . Been in drive thru 30 mins while writing this review. Only 1 car in front of me. This is ridiculous . I will most definitely to be moving my accounts elsewhere for the simple reason of the POOR customer service whenever I have a day off. Because it will take a full day to deal with these people . Apparently they have new management.

I have never had a problem with my Social Security Check being deposited on time until I moved all of my banking service to Magnolia Federal. If it could be deposited on time the first time I switched over from a traditional bank, why are there problems now? I need to have my SS Check Deposited as scheduled. This is a high problem when it does not happen. EVERY THIRD WEDNESDAY MY SS CHECK SHOUD BE IN MY ACCOUNT. ON TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE, IT SHOULD SHOW AS PENDING. ARE OTHER SS CHECK RECIPIENTS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM??????

They are good at giving loans, but they are terrible at customer service! TERRIBLE! Inconsiderate when it comes to customer accounts also. I called them several times back before my account went into the negative and told them about an EBAY user that was continuously taking money out of my account....did they stop the transactions? No! They just took all of my money out of my savings account and put it in the checking for it to get taken also. Needless to say I have a -120 checking and a -25 in savings. Ha...its a joke

HORRIBLE!!!!!! I called Magnolia to see if I could have a few questions answered. The representative was ok, but her supervisor, Trena, was rude. Magnolia, please train your MSRs and Supervisors on how to deal with customers. I will be closing my accounts. GET IT TOGETHER MAGNOLIA . I am so fed up with your crap!!!!

I NEVER GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE!! 800 SCORE TRYING TO JOIN THIS CREDIT UNION AND WILL NEVER USE A BANK THAT I CANT TALK TO. SAT ON HOLD FOREVER AND CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU ARE THE KIND OF CUSTOMER THAT LIKES TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO YOUR BANKER ABOUT YOUR MONEY AND INVESTMENTS!!!!!!!!!

The is the worst credit union I have ever had an account with. It takes forever to get a return call from anyone and when you call them SOME of the customer service representatives are RUDE!! If you go in the branch for anything that you have to see an officer for, be prepared to wait for a LONG time!!

Magnolia Federal Credit Union is the only place i have ever seen that that will lockyour account for being THREE days late on payment.Then tell you that you have to for two month before they can unlock it. I been with them for ten years. Time to make a change.

This is the worst bank ever. The customer service is Wack and takes them about 30 minutes to answer the phone . They put me and overdraft over 10 times when I had money in my savings. Then tried to make me pay for all them.
