Buyers Beware (Arlington Motorsports) Extremely Unprofessional WOW! I knew customer service was slipping in many of our businesses in America but my experience at Arlington Motorsports pushed the bar below abyss depth! Robert, Wayne and (Dan from an observation point) approach to customer service was horrible. There is no empathy, sense of urgency, understanding, willingness to work with the customer or no amiable resolution tactic existed. I had a fender binder on my motorcycle nothing serious where I did not even hit the ground. Someone just backed up and cracked by front fairing and it took Arlington motorsports one month to get the parts and repair my motorcycle. I thought because I purchased the bike there I would be entitled to some type of preferred customer respect; boy was I wrong! They kept insisting I come to the dealership (Arlington motorsports) prior to the work being done or even being started to endorse the checks they received from the insurance company. Once I refused because my experiences with repairs, the work is completed first before payment is made. Because I refused my service was put on the back burner to simmer I guess. I called once a week sometimes twice a week and they kept telling me they were waiting on parts. After the initial parts came in they started the work and noticed another fairing was cracked so they submitted an addendum to the estimate. This resulted in additional delays waiting for the parts. One month later and after several inquiries they called for delivery of my motorcycle. Upon arriving at Arlington motorsports ready to finally get my bike there was a discrepancy with the work order and the amount was incorrect. I had additional work done (replaced the chain and replaced the rear sprocket) which the work was pre-approved for $471.00. Because they did not properly file the claim there was a difference of $137.00 which I was told I had to pay if I wanted to get my bike. I suggested they resubmit the difference with the insurance company and I would come back and sign it once completed. Bottom line: I was high-balled by Arlington motorsports to pay the amount because they had what I wanted and of course a biker will pay to ride. Very unprofessional to a repeat customer! Never again, so buyers beware! They said this is a family business, maybe I wasn’t part of the Arlington motorsport family!

One of the best experiences ever on buying from a motorsport dealer. I actually drove past two other dealers to get there because I felt that the phone call to my salesman went much better than the rest. I felt like they gave me straight talk and was not trying to hit a home run. The product knowledge was top notch and they took the time to assess my needs and sold me on the value of getting a more well we equipped PWC than I actually went in there to purchase. I read one poor previous poor review and was a little concerned until I realized the person leaving the review was not even referring to the place in Arlington Texas but Arlington Virginia. Either way my personal experience was pleasant from my initial call through the selection process, financing, service make ready as well as knowledge transfer on the ins and outs of the Ski. They even took the time to make sure I knew the best way to install the cover which meant putting it on and taking it of several times. Plus the thing is just a blast to ride. Thank you again. First, 99% of these five star reviews are FAKE. Click on the user name and you will see they have only ONE review, the one you see here. Not one single user has done any other reviews except the one for this place. Not one. Really? What are the chances of that? Places like this have employees create FAKE profiles and write FAKE reviews to prop up their ratings. I came in 5/25 looking for a second bike. The salesman at the desk closest to the front door completely ignored me. He just sat there texting or playing with his phone. I sat on a few bikes. He saw me. I even asked him a question about one they had on sale. He gave me quick non-answer, near looked at me, then went back to playing on his phone... So I wandered to the back to look at helmets. The young lady back there was very nice and answered all my questions. I left and bought a bike elsewhere.

Bought my first bike there, a v star 650 classic 3 years ago. I came in once for an oil change, then a couple times after for tire changes. After that I have done all my own maintenance, and have rebuilt it completely now, along with another bike. All the staff asides from the owner have been nothing but patient and knowledgeable with me. But as said, the owner, Robert Leatherwood, is a complete Richard. Most of the staff I asked have agreed aswell. He has a mightier than thou attitude, and whenever I asked him questions he was very dismissive and demeaning. He also wanted to charge me the highest price for any part or service when I know the other guys either gave me a regular or discounted price. He goes against the principals of motorcycling in general. He needs to find a new profession.

Ive dealt with Arlington Motorsports on more than one occasion. Everyone is always helpful with my needs and making sure to work around my schedule and personal life. I bought my GSX-R 1000 from their and the salesman delivered it to my house and was very kind to my wife and kids while I was still stuck at work. I would recommend my friends and family to this store for any kind of bike purchase or service needs. They made the buying process easy and enjoyable all the way around. Definitely give these guys a call!!!

I am thrilled with all the employees. Robert was very nice, helpful, and cordial. New little Taylor was great! Robert has become a great friend, and if I can send any customers his way I will! Robert was there to help with my purchase from start to finish. I would love to work there with the crew, but not sure they would know what to do with me! Again, great people and will go out of their way to make customer happy and understand exactly what they can do for them! Way to go guys!! My friends for life!!

This is the worst place you can take something to have it worked on. Simply highway robbery. Wayne is a complete moron. I would not take a bicycle to these people to work on. I was not expecting to spend close to 600 and 4 trips to the places to only have incomplete work and waynes excuses and extra charges he made. 140 to put a new starter that i bought new for 42. Without a doubt the most expensive place for service.

Have never purchased a vehicle here so cannot review the sales department, as for parts and service...Top Notch. I have been going here for about 2 years now. I consider Paul a friend, his knowledge of bikes surprised me and is always helpful. Would never take my motorcycle anywhere else, these people have built my trust in their service that much. Never had a problem with them. Would recommend to everyone.

Found what I was looking for online. Made contact and Robert called me right back. Told me about the bike I was looking at. Went over later that day and once I saw the bike in person I knew that is was for me. Robert took good care of me. Very personal and made us feel right at home with no pressure. Thanks for helping me get back on two wheels.

I have twice had need to have my Yamaha worked on. Both times the people, both in the front and in the repair shop, were courteous and knowledgeable. They took excellent care of my bike and got me back on the road and tipping in very quickly. I will continue to bring my business here as long as I am in the DFW area.

I have been to a number shops around the metroplex. I even bought my 08 Yamaha raider from another dealership. But, when it comes to the service that is given here. Whether it be customer service, or the service department... There is not a shop that operates with integrity like this one...

Look somewhere else!!!! I was looking for a new bike, walked in & the guy at the desk walked to the back, never said a word. I looked about 20min through the whole store and nobody said anything. Will never return!!! Bought a brand new bike elsewhere, was worth the extra drive.

Walked in to look around for a new helmet and was given the best customer service that I have ever had. They had me try on different helmets to find my size, showed me the difference in brands and how they fit my head. I will definitely be back again.

Dustin is the most knowledgeable and convincing motorcycle salesperson I have ever met. I live in Washington DC. If I lived here, I would have purchased a $15,000 2015 Yamaha Raider from him today. LARRY GOTTLIEB

Bailey Sims is the most polite parts women I have ever dealt with. Everytime I call her she has the part in inventory and always gives me a great deal. Without her I could not restore my RM370 . Many thanks
