Woods came right out...same day, Great. They fixed the furnace...Okay. Did they give me an estimate before they facilitated repairs, not okay. Overcharging us for repairs, not okay. Taking more time to write the invoice that it took to repair the unit, suspicious. All I got to say is be sure to get an estimate before you get the work done. I am a builder and am not used to being charge flat rates for repairs. The part they used to repair our heater was an igniter that you can buy online for under $20. The technician was here for an hour...most of the time in his truck. Using flat rates, the bill came to just under $400. I appreciate the quick service but would rather have had the option to fix it later since it was our shop heater, not our home. I did not ask the question...therefore it was on me. Do yourself a favor on any service call, ask if they charge flat rates and be sure to get the total before you give them the go ahead.

Our phone call was answered personally, they had a technician out the same day, and we were given an estimate for several options. I am so thankful we went with Woods Comfort Systems when our AC went out two weeks ago. In Texas, going without AC is not an option so I was frantically trying to find someone to come out and repair our system and I am so glad we chose the team at Woods Comfort in San Marcos. I came home to a house with no air conditioning this past summer and all my kids were freaking out! I called a company we had done business with in the past and they said they could come the next business day at 2 p.m. There was no way that my kids or myself could wait that long! I called Woods and they were at my house in 45 minutes! A coil needed to be repaired and it didnt cost me a fortune! Awesome, awesome job! I cannot say enough good things!

I purchased a new home with an HVAC system installed by Woods. After moving in there was a tag hanging from my thermostat that explained that I needed to call to activate a 10-year warranty. I took care of the call on my end but my request fell through the cracks and was not initiated properly. To make a long story short, Woods will not honor their warranties and I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.

These guys are awesome. We bought a house with a funky layout and poorly routed AC ducts. The Woods Comfort team added a return, moved our existing return, and sealed all of our ducts. Now we can actually feel cold air coming out of our vents! They showed up on time, did great work, and even called to follow up afterward.
