One of our two AC units had broken during the summer and we had contacted another company to come get it fixed. After two weeks of rescheduling our appointment we decided to call Reliable Air and never looking back. It was a Friday morning when I called and CJ took my call. Super professional and she was able to have Glen come to our house that same afternoon to look at our unit. Glen was professional and quickly identified the issue and gave us a very reasonable quote. They were able to come the very next day on a Saturday morning and replaced the parts that needed to be changed, technician was very thorough and left my AC unit working with a new motor. The most important things to me were the honesty and reliability, where the other two companies I had contacted prior had suggested a new unit all together costing 5 times more of what I ended up paying, and the other company kept cancelling my scheduled appointments. I know only recommend Reliable Air to all my neighbors and friends.

Outside unit was not coming on, and I dreaded what the repair costs could be. Called Reliable Air simply because of all the great reviews they have. Toby came out and explained the problem, the repair needed, and the cost prior to starting work. He also found a maintenance issue that needed done. He explained it well, including cost, and let me decide if I wanted to have it done now or wait. No pressure, no sales talk. Final price of repair/maintenance was less than I expected, so decided to also change out the old thermostat from hell. I know these guys are very busy this time of year, but they still scheduled the repair on the morning of the day I asked them to be here. A huge thing when the temp is getting up there. Toby was informative and easy to work with. I will be using Reliable Air for any future issues.

Very early this morning we discovered our air conditioner was not running..Thanks to a very reliable answering service it was reported immediately and early that day Steve Thomas was here.. He carefully checked all areas of the system keeping us informed and also.checking with technichans on the computer aspects of our system. Steve is Careful , through, and expert in his profession.He stayed with it until he was completely satisfied that the unit was running well and our home cool.We cannot say enough great things about Steve Thomas and Reliable Air..!

Overall, I have had nothing but positives experiences with Reliable Air. I have used Reliable Air for at least the last 5 years and have been extremely pleased with their "reliable" service. Their service repair employees are very professional and take time to explain what is wrong and what is needed to fix the problem. They do not try to sell you service or repairs that are not needed. They are also very prompt, can give you a two-hour window and call when they are on their way.

Toby has serviced our HVAC system for various issues, including routine maintenance inspections, about 5 times. He has always been very professional, competent (problem is ALWAYS fixed), hard working (gets to the task at hand, whether in the hot attic, or outside in the hot sun), courteous, and trustworthy. I just love that he uses the boot covers inside, across our carpet, without us ever having to ask! If you need a great HVAC serviceman with an even better attitude, ask for Toby.

Toby seemed to do a very thorough job of spring maintenance on our units. He recommended a hard start kit for one unit to improve the efficiency of the unit. He discovered that a freon leak that he had been out to fix last summer was still leaking and contacted the expediter to contact me about a follow-up visit to correct the leak. Overall, I was very plreased with the job he did.

They provided a quality install of new AC unit, blower and duct work. The City of San Marcos came by and inspected the duct work to see if we qualified for their rebate and were proud to announce the leakage only at 9%. The city requires a leakage of 12% or less. Be sure to ask about what units qualify for city rebate before installation.
