Don’t go to them for plumbing, they charge 3x more than other local plumbers and lie to you about work that needs to be done in order to earn more money. We needed a second opinion of a plumbing issue. Our toilets were backed up, not flushing and overflowing, a little sewage came back into our bathtub, and our dishwasher was not draining. We obviously had a stoppage or blockage. I called Bayshore Plumbers for a second opinion and estimate. They said we needed to snake through the toilet. I asked if it were possible to first instead install a clean out and snake through that way. He said no, that was not possible, that we needed to snake through the toilet first, then install a clean out. Not understanding the process and trusting their expertise, I agreed to the work, since Bayshore Plumbers told me this toilet snake needed to be done before installing a clean out. He proceeded to snake through the toilet for $890. Then afterwards he said he would recommend that a “clean out” be installed for $1400. (At this time I was unable to contact other plumber.) In the morning spoke with my Home Warranty Plumbing department and the local plumber who initially looked at our plumbing, and they both said that was not correct, that just the clean out could be installed and then snaked, without first pulling the toilet and snaking. So Bayshore Plumbers lied. I wanted the clean out installed first so that I would not have to pay double the amount they were charging. Instead of paying $975 by the first plumber for a clean out and snake, they want a total of $2200. They quoted a total for superfluous work. I tested my bathtub and dishwasher after Bayshore Plumbing unclogged the stoppage, my bathtub still does not drain correctly, nor does my dishwasher, but the toilets flush. So this stoppage is not unclogged well to begin with. The first plumber said that the toilet and snake should only cost $250. Bayshore Plumbers are charging close to $900. Bayshore Plumbers said I needed a new toilet phlange. They quoted $600. The other plumber said that should cost only $150. Bayshore Plumbers said I needed a video. I asked if it was necessary. They said yes. The first plumber said no. Lastly, I was given no video nor report that said, “our video found xyz…” Since Bayshore Plumbers lied to us about the need to pull the toilet first as well as the outrageous price, we tried to settle this amicably with them and offered to pay them what we were told was a fair price of $250 for the work performed. Bayshore Plumbers refused to accept this fair price. Bayshore lied to us, refuse to reduce their outrageous price for work that they performed, and we still have problems with drainage in our home. One of our toilets still does not work. Bayshore Plumbers make a service call the most expensive with the most work. If they had told me initially that their price for just a clean out was $1400, I would have said thank you and good day. I trusted their expertise when they said that the toilet needed to be snaked first. Two reputable organizations have told me that is incorrect. Instead of just installing the clean out to begin with, they said I needed much more work that was absolutely not necessary. I am very unhappy with my service and would never use them again nor recommend them to anyone.

I called Bayshore on a Friday when my sewer drain was backed up. They scheduled someone the same day, and Leo came out and helped get everything fixed, and helped me pinpoint the problem area. After clearing the drain he gave me some great suggestions on potential next steps and follow up actions. Excellent service, and will definitely use again!
