This review is bitter-sweet as I have experienced two customer service reps at Delta that have been really helpful BUT their customer service system as a whole needs work. Why in the hell do we as customers have to be subjected to a generic message of "Our department is in a meeting, please leave a message"? There should always be someone available for questions and concerns. Also- when all of the CSRs are currently busy helping other customers- why must we as customers leave a message for a CSR to reach us in 48 hours- especially when we need a concern handled now? Do better please, Delta.

Wants you to leave a message with all your information instead of answering the phone! Like your going to be hanging out by your phone waiting for some call to come to your phone! What a Joke! I need a quick answer to my questions and now not sure when I will hear back, then probably will be told to call back the same number I just called. WHY.... does everything have to be sooo dang difficult nowadays! No one EVER answers the phone anymore! Push 5, push 7, push 9 and leave a message. HORRIBLE!

Absolutely awful customer service every time I call on the phone. I hate waiting for undue amounts of time, among other telephone problems. They are also inconsistent with the billing, and I often have to remind them of this as well. I will be shopping for another plan in 2017, unless they can shape all of this up.

Delta Dental of Colorado has been a very good deal for me. Routine visits for cleaning twice a year are completely paid for by Delta. It also saves me money if I have to get other work done. I still go to the same dentist I had before I had Delta Dental coverage. Claims are processed promptly and correctly.

I manage a Dental Office in Western Colorado and I love working with and dealing with Delta Dental. They are quick to pay claims and have always been very good with any questions or calls I have made. Kudos to Delta Dental for making our jobs easier and for helping our patients with dental coverage. A+

They have the worst follow up and customer service. Almost on par with Motor Vehicle office. Tried to work with COBRA representatives and Delta to resolve an issue and Delta was just plain rude. You have to yell at them to get any action. Call DORA if you need to complain about them.

Customer service reps are not helpful and give incorrect information. One person I spoke with named Shawn was extremly rude. When I asked him to speak with someone above him he basically refused to let me. As far as customer service goes I would give them zero stars.

Delta is the worst company I have ever worked with as of late. I have had Delta Dental all of my adult life time which is about 35 years. As of late they are absolutely terrible to deal with. I hope they realize that no company is to big not to fail, Look at Enron.

I HAVE ATTEMPTED CALLING DELTA DENTAL OF CO SEVERAL TIMES AND EVERY TIME I HAVE GOTTEN A MESSAGE STATING CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED. VERY UNETHICAL AS I VERIFY ELIGIBILITY AND BENEFITS ON A DAILY BASIS FOR MY PATIENTS. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIGURED OUT ASAP!

Their follow up is horrible. Your emails will not get responded to. You will be given the run around when you try to reach someone who can help you resolve a problem. You are going to hate doing business them.
