My experience was very disappointing. My lender that I was dealing with had very poor knowledge of the mortgage business. He made my closing extend way past the 3 month mark which caused the rate to go up. He also knew I was looking at another home while refinancing and assured me we would get both done. Well what happened was once the refi. went thru it turned out it was made a primary residence and I could no longer purchase a second home because there is a rule that you must live in residence for 6months to a year. So I lost my new dream home. Plus all the money I spent on inspections and all that other good stuff.Word of advice if you do use them make sure you get someone who has atleast 30 years experience in this field because my guy was a moron in the mortgage field.

Stephanie Santoro is by far the sweetest, most patient and understanding person that I have ever worked with. In Just a few months Stephanie and the staff at mid-island was able to do what no other bank was able to do for me. I can’t Thank them enough for giving my new family a home. Stephanie Held my hand through this entire process. She was very responsive and worked extremely hard and diligently to get me through it all. I would not think twice about recommending anyone this company. It was a bumpy road but they were able to Pull through and at the end of the day that is the most important thing. The process is not easy at all but having a wonderful loan officer makes it a million times better. I am overjoyed that I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie.

Stephanie Santoro saved the the deal Stephanie was called in at the last minute to see if she could save a deal we had that was falling through on the purchase of a new home. The lender we were dealing with previously was dishonest and greedy. Stephanie Santoro and mid-island came in at the last minute and turned around a mortgage for us at lower than market interest rate with better terms and in record time! Ms. Santoro was relentless in getting us the best. The team worked seamlessly and efficiently to make a difficult scenario seem like light work. Stephanie is honest and diligent and hands down the most meticulous loan officer I have had the pleasure of working with. Frank Savocchi was our broker and he did a great job advising us throughout the closing process. If you decide to go with Mid-Island, which I think you should, I would absolutely recommend speaking with Frank. There wasn’t a time I couldn’t reach him or a question he couldn’t answer for us. My fiancé and I were soooo nervous in the beginning being that this was our first home purchase, but he made us feel like it was a walk in the park, he truly was the best!

The buyer of our house used this incompetent company. They delayed the process the entire time and now tell us hours before the closing that it will be another week. With 3 closings trying to align and all parties now extremely inconvenienced, they just stop returning calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This mortgage broker is now on my Black List! It took them over 4 months and several excuses to eventually fail to deliver the closing. It ended up costing the buyer, seller, and agents a lot of wasted time and money! I would never recommed this company!
