I recently applied for a VA Interest Rate Reduction Loan with Forthright Funding (FF), after receiving flyers from many lenders and much contemplation. I initially applied for the loan on the fourth day of September, and received word that my loan had been funded on the 30th. From what my friends have told me, this is a very short turn around time for processing a loan. From day one, Justin, the Executive Loan Officer who helped me with my loan, explained the process to me and worked with me through every step to keep me informed of the progress. Bottom line: Everything went exactly as he had explained it would. Additionally, my interest rate dropped almost two percent (2%). Justin is very knowledgeable and a consummate professional, and Forthright Funding should feel very fortunate to have him on their team. I would highly recommend Forthright Funding. Also, Forthright Funding has a great rating with the BBB. My outstanding experience with Forthright Funding mirrors the BBB rating, but I would honestly rate them at A+. I might add that I live outside of Arizona, but that was not an issue. Forthright Funding respected me as a veteran, and as a customer. Thanks so much Justin for everything!

Overall, I am quite happy about the interest rate I received, and the ease with which the application was completed. I would have given John Kresevic, and Forthright Funding 5 stars, if they had provided me with more accurate numbers, before the closing. In my case, I went to closing with one expectation, but received a "surprise" that I walked away from. After walking away from the first close, John addressed my concerns, and did MUCH better the second time. Again, I would have given the overall process 5 stars, for efficiency, and value, had it not been for this one detail. The final outcome was excellent, and I would not hesitate to use John, and Forthright Funding again.

I could never do business with these people, they have no idea what is going on. I get in the mail a couple time a month a secured document address to my son who is deceased since Jan 15 2014. He has never seen or been in the house in question but the document says he is the owner and his loan balance is $294,400.00. I and my wife purchased the house mid Mar 2014, 2 months after my sons death and paid cash half the amount shown above. I have called them and told them they are dead wrong and ease stop sending this info out but they could care less that they the way they are.

Loan officer Tommy Tyma was great! He worked with us through the closing process efficiently. The only thing we suggest is that, the communication to the Closing Notary representative would be arranged better. We had our closing time pushed back twice from 6pm to 9pm then she had to wait for some more documents before she got to our home after 10:00pm.
