My neighbor recommended Stephen A. Almeida plumbing after some excellent work they did for her. I needed someone in a hurry due to a catastrophe that occurred in my home while I was away on a trip. My call was answered promptly by a nice, pleasant lady who said Stephen would call me back by the end of that day. Less than an hour later Stephen called (!) and asked me to describe my problem. After telling him what had occurred, he offered to stop by during his lunch as he happened to be in my area. Wow! I am already impressed. Stephen arrived when he said he would, looking and sounding very professional and capable. He assessed the situation, and then cleared an entire day at the end of that same week to take care of the problem. When it became apparent that there was more to the job than originally anticipated, Steve rearranged his schedule again to accommodate the extra time it would take to complete the project once the required parts and fixtures were ordered and available. Pricing was more than fair. Steve only charged me once for a procedure he ended up having to complete a second time due to the severity of the problem. For the hours he and his associate spent, as well as the number of parts and fixtures that needed to be replaced, the price was very reasonable. Stephen A. Almeida Plumbing is professional, expert, efficient and a pleasure to do business with. I will be calling them for some other jobs that I have been planning. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs, large or small.

Are you looking for a courteous, professional plumber?????. Steve is a perfectionist in completing the job and following up next day to make sure all was working without leaks. We found Steve through his website and read the reviews. He installed a basement sink with pump completing the job with expertise and patience. I have to say I was nervous getting a plumber out on short notice to take care of a problem, but Stephen Almeida was absolutely the best. My do-it-yourself project went wrong and instead of making me feel bad for trying it myself, he commended the effort. He was here within an hour, explained everything thoroughly, finished the work promptly, and left things cleaner than they were when he got here. He will be my only call for plumbing needs in Newport.
