I had water in my furnace room so I called Midwest Basement. They sent their representative out to find the cause of the water and he really could not find the cause but recommended they install a new battery operated sump pump, although there was no water in the sump pump hole, and also tile around the outside wall. I explained before they did anything, I had never had water in the basement for the three years I have lived in the home. He said the floor could be separating from the outside wall. I told them to go ahead with the $5600.00 repair. The water was in the furnace room immediately after they finished the repair. They sent another agent out who started to break the floor up again when he felt he should check my water softener. The real cause of the water in the basement was the drain hose from the water softener had come out of the drain. I did not need anything that Midwest Basement installed, so it cost me $5600.00 for no reason. I have waited for almost 6 months for a reply from them, but not a word.

I had issues with cracked and bowing walls that were hidden under a partially finished basement. I contacted Midwest Basement Systems for a quote originally on an egress widow and that is when the issues were discovered. Tyler Babcock walked me through different options and explained the process and provided a quote. Everything thing went extremely well with the installation. Mike Wagner the foreman in charge of installing the Power Bracing System did an outstanding job. Finished under budget (due to not needing as much material as original thought) and the process was done quickly and cleanly. Mike took the time to make suggestions for refinishing and worked around some existing finishes. Excellent job! Thank for the outstanding work. Will recommend and hire for future projects.

I have used Midwest Basement Systems twice now for problems that I have experienced and they have surpassed my expectations each time. They are very professional in their approach, they included me in all discussions and decisions and their work is top notch. When the job is done they pay a lot of attention to detail in the clean-up process. Something not all contractors pay much attention to. Their employees from the office stay, through the salesman, on to their installation crews have been taught that the customer is important. They treated me that way! I hope that I will not need their services again, but if I do you can be sure that they will be the ones to do it.

FANTASTIC SERVICE ! my mothers neighbor had Midwest Basement Systems come out last Fall to install a waterproofing system. She told my parents that she absolutely loved the service! she said that the whole experience from the first call into the office to the expert coming out to determining the problem to the crew installing the system was fantastic. Everyone was professional and friendly and the crew cleaned up after the installation so well you could hardly tell that they had even been there. Hearing how pleased she is with her system has now gotten my parents looking into fixing and protecting there home with them. i would recommend this company to anyone!

We had Midwest Basement help us with water in our basement. They came out and tiled around the walls in our finished basement. This worked until a heavy rain came up through cracks in the middle of the basement floor. I called Midwest Basement and they came out and tiled across the floor to solve the water problem. It was nice to deal with a company that quarantees their work and follows through with their promise to take care of you. They worked quickly, with limited dust and cleaned up after themselves. We had a great experience dealing with Jeff at Midwest Basement.

Spent thousands of dollars for my basement with them. They guaranteed their work only for basement to get water in it again. Really! Yes they came out but the inconvenience of removing all my basement stuff was very annoying. Then they did work to secure my basement walls only to leave the basement in such in ugly horror that now I have to figure out how I can finish the basement off covering up their work. Called them about this only to get no satisfaction! Great. Do not recommend unless u ask them exactly what to expect when they get done!

My mom had Midwest Basement Systems out to her home to do foundation repair. The crew was very professional and did a great job. The homes foundation was broken, Midwest Basement Systems was able to use a piering system to lift the home back into place. Doors and windows that would not open before lifting started to work like new. The cracks in the plaster closed up, once painted you could no longer tell that there were ever cracks there. Midwest Basement Systems is great, I will use them in the future for any basement issues I have.

It used to be good, they would call or send me a reminder card for yearly service, the last 2 years I have to remind them. As they came for this years checkup 3 weeks ago, replaced one of the pumps and 2 days later water was shooting out, tech didnt get it fitted proper. Now less than 3 weeks that same pump quit working and have left messages to call me and no return call, I am using a small back up with a garden hose .
