I called ABC Plumbing to cut off my kitchen sink pipes during a kitchen remodel. The plumber came out and looked up a price in his book and quoted me $667. At first I figured he was quoting me the price to cut off the pipes then come back out and hook the sink back up. The price he quoted me was just for cutting off the pipes. Not having any wiggle room with my time window I was forced to pay the price. The $667 covered 30 minutes of labor(to include re-work because the cap was installed incorrectly) and some copper caps. Talking with other people about my experience with ABC Plumbing I found out I was ripped off. I called a different plumber for the sink install and was very happy. For $520 I paid for 4 hours of labor and parts. The plumber for ABC quoted me about $1200 to install the sink or about $600 just to put valves on the pipes. If you are looking for a plumber I would go somewhere else unless you want to pay a premium price for something that can can be done cheaper and better elsewhere. The company claims they charge the high price because they screen and background check their employees but most companies do.

Day light Robbery - BEWARE - DO Not Hire I called ABC Plumbing to replace a pvc pipe that was broken and was asked to sign a credit card authorization form $59 before the technician shows up to do the work. After the Technician looks at the broken pipe, he quotes me $840 to replace the PVC pipe ( 4 ft with a L connector). I ask him, why is it so expensive and how much time and material does it take? and he immediately reduces the quote to $650 and says ABC is a professional company and no further explanation how he arrives at this price. Of course I refuse the work to be done. I called ABC plumbing about the overcharge and they do not return my call but instead charged me $59 for inspection. The inspection was nothing new and I had told them before he arrived as to what need to be done. They call themselves "Professional". I do not think so. My cardiologist does not charge these kind of rates. This is Day-Light Robbery. DO NOT HIRE THEM. By-the-way, I had another company fix the issue and they charged $75 ($15 for material and $60 labor) an took him 30 min to replace the pipe.

Anthony Hawkins was very detailed in debugging the problems with the new Carrier humidifier on my new Carrier furnace. From previous service calls, the humidifier was wired incorrectly during original furnace/humidifier installation, for which the other ABC technicians never found this problem. Following, the humidifier was not working at all. Anthony found that the solenoid was activating, but there was no water flow. After cleaning the water line, still no water flow. He then replaced the solenoid, with a new "non-Carrier-compatible" solenoid, and the solenoid worked, with good water flow. After he tuned the system, the humidifier is working quite well. He was originally told that the least replaceable unit was the filter assembly, or even a replacement Carrier humidifier. To the contrary, Anthony was able to create a hybrid connection with a different solenoid from his parts supply. Going forward, I will always request Anthony Hawkins to be the ABC service technician I want to be present during my future HVAC service calls Ralph Henrikson

When you call them they will speak nicely to you. No issues about that. The contractors they send will check you issue and show very highly charged cost quotes and will show discount on it (even the discounted quote when you enquire outside, it will be nearly half the price). 1. The one picking the phone will not know what kind of contractor they are sending to your place. And some (most in my case) of the contractors will come and check out your place to give you an quote for $1000 which could be closed with just $200 or so. This had happened to me 2 times. 2. When you take the membership with them they will tell you that you can cancel it anytime. When you want to cancel and call them. They will ask you to send email to some email Id. You will not get any response for weeks. When you call back on this they will ask you to forward that email to someone else and they still will not care to call you or cancel your membership. You have to keep calling.... I had worst experience with them.

No haggle, no hassle - simple, clean, professional business. Super impressed. Special thanks to Adam C who was assigned to our job. Extremely professional and did everything to accommodate us and ensure we had hot water that very evening. To our bad luck we had a power outage at the same time our water heater broke and it was late in the evening. Adam waited for the power to be back (even though he had a long commute ahead of him to get back home) and completed the job without rushing it. Along the way, he was also able to educate me on some of it and explained everything i asked for. Water heater is essential for our day to day life and given that it takes a combination of water, electricity and gas to make it work, i would highly recommend and trust ABC for this kind of work. +1 happy customer !!

ABC Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric installed air-conditioning systems in my house. Josh and Rob did truly outstanding job in very hard conditions! This was a single family home on a narrow one-way street. The two units had to be installed on the roof with the help of a crane. It happened that we had record high temperatures on the day of installation. Despite all these factors, they finished the work on time and were extremely professional. The whole experience was much easier than what I had expected from a project of this magnitude. The process was excellent from the day when I discussed with them which system is needed to be installed--they really know ins and outs of HVAC--to the completion of the installation and beyond. If I need any other heating, cooling, plumbing or electric issues resolved, I will certainly call ABS. They respond 24/7 and extremely knowledgeable. I feel that ABC has my back!

The service by Mike G. and his partner Eric was very professional, courteous, friendly and the job was completed quickly, expertly and with no collateral mess or damage. they arrived within the 1 hour appointment window. The narrow window is fantastic because I do not like to waste a day waiting around for hours for service. I also like that they voluntarily wore the shoe booties when entering my home and informed me of the process for the invoice ahead of time so no surprises. The price was fair and they informed me of an online coupon on their site so I was able to save $30 on my service fee immediately. That was a first! I will definitely use them again for future repairs /maintenance and I will share their name with friends and family. I was very impressed with their expert and friendly service.

We are long-time customers of ABC, because whenever we need them, they come quickly and do a good job. This time was no exception. The sump pump went out in the middle of 4 days of rain! I called in the morning and Mike G. was there by afternoon. He explained our options, provided us with estimates, and discussed the choices with us. This helped us a lot in making our decisions. Mike had everything on hand that was needed to remove and replace my pump. He had the new one up and running within a few hours. Mike disposed of the old pump for us and even cleaned up the area. We have had several plumbing repairs done by ABC, and have always been satisfied with the quality of the work and equipment. Even more important, I have always felt comfortable with the technicians sent by ABC. Like Mike, they are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend ABC.

The pipe under our kitchen sink broke and with that we quickly had a flooded floor. Along with that problem the disposal leaked a backlog of items onto the floor. The disposal was installed one year ago, along with the new kitchen sink and countertops all done by another company. We called ABC Plumbing and they sent Adam C and Brian over to help. The cost was a little more than we had expected, but the issue was more complex because the previous plumber improperly installed plumbing lines that were hoses not actual pipes. It was a tough job as they had to rework everything from the crawl space up to the kitchen. Both men did a great job! Adam had installed our new sum pump a few months back and that also is working perfectly. Two nice fellows and super professional folks overall at ABC! We highly recommend ABC to our family and friends.

I contacted ABC Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric to have plumbing work performed. (Replace toilet, sink and sump pump). The company emailed me a detailed info sheet on who would be coming to my home with a photo of the serviceman. He arrived within the time promised (11am-3pm he was here at Noon) and was incredibly informative. He showed me all of the issues and let me decide how to proceed. The company offers a monthly service plan that is exactly what I needed. Mike was incredibly friendly and courteous. He was able to answer every question I had and gave me some good advice as how to proceed. I really was quite pleased with everything that was done in the home. I would recommend that anyone needing this type of service to call ABC as they have perfected the customer service aspect of their industry. Thanks Mike!

The one star rating is not for the plumber, it is for whoever schedules the appointments. I was given, and received confirmation for, a first stop appointment. The Plumber never showed up. I called to find out where he was and I was told that they did not show up for our confirmed first call appointment because " we have lots of plumbers so we have more than one first call. We will call you when he finishes up where he is now and is on his way to you". Clearly I do not understand what first call means to ABC. I thought it meant first. When I asked for clarification it was explained to me that they are still trying to catch up from last weekends rains. This confused me further as I made my appointment after the "rains" so why would they make and confirm an appointment they where to busy to keep?

Dave F. came to inspect back up and ejector pit sump pumps and water heater. Ejector pit sump pump was 11 years old. Dave F. did a thorough inspection. He sat with me and did an extensive write up and answered all my questions. A decision was made to replace the ejector pit sump pump. And within weeks to replace the water heater. Dave F. & Fred replaced the sump pump flawless lee. They were polite and respectful of their surroundings. Dave F. saw some pvc piping which was no longer in use he asked if he could remove the piping. This created more room in our work area, Great Job going above and beyond expectations. Dave F., Fred and ABC will receive a 4 star rating for this extremely pleasant experience. I plane to call and have Dave F. replace our hot water heater soon.

Outstanding Service! Brett is the best tech! Extremely Knowledgeable! My building ( a six flat) has a boiler and has been having a heating problem for over 3 years. One apartment was not getting enough heat. After having several different heating companies come out, the problem was still not fixed. I called ABC and within a half hour Brett arrived. Friendly and courteous. When I described the problem, he knew exactly what was the problem. As he was repairing the water line he was explaining to me what he was doing and why this caused the lack of heat. Then he checked every apartment to make sure the heating system was operating properly. Plus, the cost was more then fair. The hours of operation are the best! Thank you ABC and Brett! I am DEFINITELY using ABC from now on!

I thought I could fix it myself... Just needed to replace the switch for a ceiling light in the kitchen. When I installed the switch and flipped the circuit breaker and a spark popped out of the circuit box, I knew I was wrong. Called ABC and Ryan was at my door in under an hour. He replaced 2 switches (I could never figure out what 1 did, it was actually a 2nd switch to operate the same kitchen light! Never worked before Ryan came) The house was built in 1965 and has several 3 way switches.... Ryan fixed both quickly and without making me feel like a dufus for not knowing about 3 way switches! He was friendly, professional and most importantly competent! Thank you Ryan. I can sleep tonight without worrying I was starting an electrical fire!
