Two Thumbs Up for Revived Exteriors When a dangerous thunderstorm roared through Buffalo Grove on Feb. 19, it caused serious damage to the roof of our house. As my wife and I tried to decide what to do next, we saw a sign. Actually, a number of signs. They were planted on lawns of homeowners throughout our neighborhood. Homeowners who trusted their repair projects to Robert Ciepiela and his team at Revived Exteriors. Now we can add our name to their list of satisfied customers. In short, Revived Exteriors provided first-rate work and excellent customer service. Robert guided us step-by-step through the frequently onerous insurance claims process, thoroughly explained all aspects of the materials and installation process, and coordinated permits and inspections with the village. His crew worked tirelessly for two days on our project, which was a complete tear-off. Clean-up of the work site was carried out to the highest standard. No one welcomes the prospect of replacing their roof. But if such a project looms over your head, my wife and I are pleased to recommend Revived Exteriors. Bob earl is a nice charismatic man. He was polite and very informative about the claim process. I was worried about my roof claim being denied, I didnt want to have a claim against me because if you have too many claims, the insurance company will raise your premium or drop you. Bob assured me he was very confident my claim would go thru. Well the claim was denied. Bob said he would file another inspection within 3 to 4 weeks in hopes of getting a different insurance adjuster. Five weeks passes and no news from Bob so I called him. Bob said my paperwork for a request of re inspection was ready and it would be filed the next day. No word from Bob for 3 weeks so I called him...he didnt return my call. I called him 3 weeks later....still no call back....I called 3 weeks later .....still no call back. When I first signed the contract with Bob, he would return my calls same day. Now that it looks like the insurance has denied the claim, I cant get a simple call back. Thanks for nothing Bob.

Last year we had our roof and siding done by REVIVED EXTERIORS. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and siding particularly with all aspects of its installation. They consistently exceed my expectations and I find them to be professional and excellent communicators. Robert the owner explained the whole process of installation. He was very patient in going through shingle color and all materials. To choose a company from such a competitive field can be a daunting task, but REVIVED EXTERIORS has proven to be the right company for the job as their team has provided good workmanship, and stayed on schedule. Was very pleased with our experience with Revived and have asked them to evaluate another property of ours. When we first met them we were skeptical as we were concerned they were typical "storm chasers". After talking to them we decided to give them a shot at seeing what they can do, especially since we were denied by our insurance carrier twice. Revived was able to get our roof and siding replaced completely and the insurance paid for it all. Revived honored all agreements, were straight forward, and were pleasant to work with. We had no problem referring them to others.

Rob provided excellent service and competitive pricing. He was very accessible through phone and in person. The crew removed an old antenna and dish from the roof along with two layers of shingles. The work was done in an efficient and professional manner, crew cleaned up after the job, roof looks great. Rob came to inspect the roof and cleanup after the installation - he even ran a magnet along the driveway and around the house for additional precautions - great job!! We hired Revived Exteriors last year to replace our dated roof. The owner was very knowledgeable about the claim process with my insurance company and was able to walk me through the process. The work was exceptional. Quickly they repaired my and replaced my roof. The whole process was easy with great communication in terms of progress. The roof was originally approved by the insurance company and later they were able to get the insurance to cover the entire plywood decking as well.
