My experience with LVDG left me feeling great. From the beginning, I felt like my relatively minor case was treated as if it were a very serious one. While hanging out at my house, I heard a strange knock at my door. The police informed me that I had been a very serious accident and that they knew it was me. I told them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. They told me a tow-truck was on its way to impound my car and I only needed to confess to take care of everything quickly. I continued to tell them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. This took about 3 hours and left me very shaken up. About 2 weeks later, I got a notice in the mail from LVMPD that I was the suspect in a hit and run investigation. This frightened me. How could the police accuse me of this? Are my rights being violated? What’s going on? I knew this was the time to consult a lawyer. I researched the Law Firm that I noticed represented police in previous cases, and that had former police officers on its staff. I knew that this sort of rapport with police would expedite my case, as they would be able to relate to the detective(s) investigating me on mutually understandable terms. Upon meeting with the first of three individuals involved on my case, David Kohlmeier, Case Manager immediately made me feel the full implications of my case. He let me know the potential progress and possible punishments of my case, the benefits of retaining the law firm to protect me, and the cost structure for all of it. Nothing was unclear. He made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about. The next person I met with was In-House Private Investigator - William Simpson who personally investigated on my behalf and spoke to the detective on my behalf to figure out an appropriate time for me to go speak with him, as well as probing for information to give us a clearer understanding of what exactly I was being accused of. The next individual I came into contact with was my attorney, Amber Furhiman,Esq. She and I went down to the detective’s office to discuss my case, and her presence made me feel completely at ease with this interaction. She arrived exactly on time and she did her job well in making sure the interview was by the letter. I went from almost having a criminal record, thousands of dollars worth of tickets, traffic school, possible suspension of my license, increase of my insurance premiums, and jail time to NOTHING! The state completely dropped its case with no tickets or punishments issued whatsoever! Whew! Throughout the experience, all my phone calls were returned with expedience, and everything was explained thoroughly. The diverse backgrounds of the people involved on my case provided a plan that left me feeling like my rights were protected in the way that they should be. I felt like all I had to do was retain them as my legal counsel and let them do the rest. I was supposed to get a huge hit in more ways than one, but LVDG protected me. Thanks LVDG!

I just wanted to thank The Las Vegas Defense Group, for all they have done for me. From helping me with my case, to giving me peace of mind. They were always there for me. Day or night, whenever I had a question or needed reassurance. The case manager, David Kohlmeier, was nothing short of amazing !! Amber Fuhriman is the best kept secret when it comes to immigration attorneys in Las Vegas. My wife was held her for a deportation hearing. I was totally freaked out and didn’t know what to do or what my options were. I contacted about a dozen immigration attorneys. I could tell Amber was the best attorney for the job from the moment I spoke to her. She is very articulate and incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of immigration law. She explained everything I needed to know in simple easy to understand terminology. Amber successfully negotiated a voluntary departure and my wife was allowed to leave the country with no penalty. A number of attorneys told me that my wife was going to face deportation but thanks to Amber that didn’t happen. My family I are so grateful and we would highly recommend her to anyone in this situation.

I was interviewed by the office manager David and then found myself becoming a client. I was asked a lot of hard questions that needed to be answered. My family has hired Las Vegas Defense before. I have some traffic issues that I was not aware off. I was pulled over and the officer informed me that I had a warrant for my arrest. I explained to the officer that I was not aware of any outstanding tickets. I was able to talk my way out of it but quickly google LVDG. Met with an Attorney in an hour, explained to me why I had the warrant. The next few days I did not drive until my situation was handled. I felt confident that I had made the right choice to hire them. The ticket was handled, my warrant was quashed and now I have 90 days to pay my ticket. Thank you guys. I met with Selina at LVDG recently. A worried and nervous expression just soaked through my face. Never has there been a possibility that I may need a criminal defense attorney in my life. What I did, I did not benefit from and did it for the sake of an elderly person. She spoke to me kindly and affirmatively. Never passing judgement. She sat and listened to my concerns, we walked through the worse case scenario and the best should the situation escalate to my needing a defense attorney. Michael Becker represented me in a domestic dispute with my ex girlfriend. I had another attorney from another firm that made big promises that he negligently failed to deliver and ultimately convinced me to take a deal that was good only for him. I am now trying to fix the damage by the former attorney. Michael Becker is 180 degrees different. Michael always returns my calls when I have questions. He is respectful and a strong advocate for me. After my horrible experience with the other attorney I cannot express enough the value of an attorney that shows respect and concern. Had I met Michael first I believe I would have avoided jail and an ankle bracelet.
