I want to give many thanks to Towne Mortgage for all of their perseverance, dedication, and hard work. Thanks to them, I am now a happy homeowner! They helped make one of my biggest dreams in life come true. And I had the fortunate pleasure of working with one of their BEST loan officers, Colleen Murphy. She is absolutely top notch, very professional, and her customer service skills cannot be beat. She was super helpful, very knowledgeable, and always accessible throughout my entire mortgage process. Being new to the whole mortgage world, needless to say, I was very nervous. But Colleen Murphy and Towne Mortgage were there for me every step of the way. I even disregarded another mortgage company in order to work with them. We got a loan through Towne Mortgage in 2008. Never missed a payment and they were always nice and pleasant if and when we called regarding something or another. We sold our house in 2016 and when buying our new house in 2017 it was something worse than the nastiest "cluster" anyone could imagine. Our realtor and mortgage advisor through Towne were our only saving grace. Lance Paulson from Towne basically saved the day. Through his customer service skills, attention to detail, and complete unwaivering dedication, he helped us through an other wise complete discouraging endeavor that lasted months to no fault of their own. The underwriter had a huge part in this as well but we never had any direct contact with her, but she has my everlasting thanks too. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Might as well not even have a "customer service" department. For 5 months I have tried contacting this company and left numerous voicemails, after they raised my house payment $200 a month, Sent my check back to me (for not being the "exact amount"), and then charged me late fees because of this. Not once have I gotten a response. I suggest not even wasting your time with this place. Its been nothing but a nightmare.

Absolute terrible customer service. In my attempt to obtain a loan, there were difficulties that should have been resolved or at least started on days/weeks prior to the issue arising. When trying to get clarity on certain requirements or fine print, my questions were simply ignored. When my closing date kept getting pushed off and I voiced my concern, I was audibly laughed at. There is no real desire to serve the customer, only to do the bare minimum.

Horrible. I am switching mortgage companies. I have never made a late payment and when their online payment system was down I called in to pay by phone and they wanted to charge pay by phone fees. Terrible customer service and not willing to help, they act annoyed that you call in.

Run away, Run far far away. Zero customer service. Called multiple times never got anywhere, after a year with Towne are escrow payment almost doubled for no reason multiple attempts to fix it were ignored. Their mistakes are costing us thousands!!!!!!

Over the past year or so, the company has really stepped up its service level. Payment portal does not charge a fee if lender pays before 15th of the month. All issues are corrected within the phone call.
