Hello All, I am a Real Estate Agent and I wanted to tell you all about my negative experience working with Summit Funding located in Bloomfield. I would strongly recommend advising your clients not to work with them. Here are the reasons why: 1. They make many mistakes: a. They thought we were purchasing a home for 143,000 when they were sent an offer saying 140,000 b. They forgot to send documents that needed to be filled out by the buyer. 2. They have poor communication skills: a. There were numerous times that my calls/voicemails/emails were ignored b. I had to cc someones boss when they refused to respond to me. c. They practically ignored my client after she was approved. d. After calling them a bunch of time, I think they began screening my calls. 3. Their lack of organization delayed my closing by almost two weeks. 4. Overall, a catastrophic lack of professionalism really left a negative taste in my mouth regarding Summit.

This could not have gone any better with Steve and his team. Everyone involved, especially Steve and Amanda, made this "normally" tedious and worrisome transaction go anything but that. I was kept up to date daily on what was needed, how underwriting was going, what the next steps were and a proper timeline. Very friendly, yet no sugar-coating, exactly what I was looking for. There was nothing hidden with them and they under-promised and over-delivered. As promised, my closing costs came in lower than expected. At closing, Steve was there, in person, to answer any questions, just in case. Twice now, in less than a week, after we closed, Amanda followed up to make sure all was still well. It will be tough to find better customer service and I hope I have the opportunity to funnel any and all possible home owners/refinancers their way.

I am so grateful for the time and attention Brenda and her team (especially Lisa) gave us. Brenda made sure we knew all of our options and took the time to help us understand the mortgage process before we started looking for a home. Then, throughout the whole process, she and her colleague, Lisa, answered our questions round the clock and always kept us up to date on where our loan approval stood. I felt like I was a priority from start to finish, and they made the mortgage process the least stressful part of buying our new home!

A man is only as good as his word. With the Stork Group they lived up to the promises they made up front. When making one of the biggest transactions of your life you want to make sure you have someone you can trust in the process and guide you every step of the way. After dealing with big banks with previous homes you can really tell the difference in the level of care and professionalism they bring to the table. I will never think about using anyone else again after such a smooth process.

It was a 0 stress process and the final results was even better than expected. Since first meeting with all explanation, through the Appraisal ( that by the way was done in a such short time) , all follow up meetings and finally the closing. Was a such great experience, I always heard how hard and stressful those process normally are, and even being our first time buying a house here in US, was so easy going and no issues.
