We are very happy with our A&S pool. The design is beautiful and the construction was very well done. In our first meeting with our design consultant, Bill Coyle, he took us out into our yard and was able to make us see what the pool could look like. We were also impressed with the detailed construction plan which laid out each step of the process so that we would know what to expect. As with all projects of this magnitude that involve many different tradespeople, problems arose occasionally but these were all taken care of satisfactorily. Our pool was finished in Fall of 2011 so we have experienced the closing and opening process as provided by the Service department. They are a pleasure to work with; we look forward to seeing them again in April!

When I decided to renovate my pool, I was very apprehensive -- what kind and how many nightmares were going to ensue? -- NONE. All of the A&S employees were wonderful; they always hastily responded to any questions or concerns I had, were willing to share their knowledge and experience and were always very pleasant and patient. The contractors did a wonderful job on all phases of the renovation. They were very respectful, explained the different processes, gave suggestions on proper care, apologized for any delays (mostly weather) and left the property with few disturbances. The result -- a beautifully new 48 year-old pool. Cannot thank you all enough -- ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!

The entire pool building experience with A&S was enjoyable. From the initial no pressure sales meetings, to the design, and then the multiple teams engaged for installation. Having a dedicated Project Manager as well as pre-identified timelines (that are actually kept) made the entire process run very smoothly. Setting expectations early and working through issues as they arise was key. Post installation knowledge transfer was also tremendously beneficial to a new pool owner. If I ever need another pool built I know who I am going with!

Problems with the pool every year...broken skimmer, leaks in the pipes, etc. No initiative to help solve the problems--only motivation to swindle more money for themselves and avoid responsibility. They recommended a company regarding a leak who was completely unreceptive to our concerns and refused to check the areas requested until the "end", hence charging an obscene amount of money for hours of "service" only to literally put a small flag in the puddle where the leak was. Waste of time and waste of money with them.

A Private User

Had complete pool renovation, bought new pool cover and used them for service. All work done to my satisfaction, workers were competent and polite. The office staff were unresponsive, occasionally dismissive nearly always unavailable. Always had to speak to the administrative officer to accomplish the simplest thing. More phone calls, and wasted time were required to for this job than one could imagine. There are other companies that can do this simple work as well as A&S, USE THEM INSTEAD.

My experience with AS Pools has been extremely positive. From the initial meeting with Rob on the AS product, to Harald "holding our hand" all the way through, to contractors coming to our site and doing their job, to actually being able to swim now, has been great. Everyone from the initial excavator, to the rebar crew, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, concrete people, tilers, etc., have been so easy to work with and so nice. We are extremely satisfied and happy with our pool.

This is the third summer for our A&S Fiberglass salt-water pool. It is fabulous! The service team is excellent: they open and close the pool each season, are very prompt with service calls, handle warranty work efficiently, and offer expert advice. Their Service Manager is available by phone and e-mail, with same- or next-day results being the norm. Recommend highly.

Watching our neighbors pool project get abandoned. Mistake after mistake, poorly managed. Corporate office was contacted after months of no shows, said they would take it over and get it back in track. Showed up the week after the call for one day, now no shows for scheduled work. Too many good pool companies out there to even consider this one.
