Used to be better. Their Acoma branch has good staff, but the Denver Community Credit Union default policies will lead you "down the garden path" to unnecessary overdraft, transfer & account fees. Their website offered easy access to all account info & you could do most of your banking online & by phone. - Now their new site is either non-functional or insecure on many browsers, and their policies have changed, requiring you to come in, wait, & sit down with a representative to "opt in" to many digital services that were easily available before. This would be easier if they informed you of these services (much less to opt out of the unnecessary ones that cost you money), but instead their default policy seems to be scraping as much money off each account as possible. The staff are very friendly & helpful if you ask the right questions, but I get the impression they are discouraged from disclosing anything unless specifically asked. All in all, these are good people and once you are set up (you will now need a poorly designed mobile app that was never necessary before) they offer much better interest rates & more access to your money (you can use any 7-Eleven ATM for free, which is a lot easier than finding any bank ATM!), so I do recommend them. I just wish their management would revise their digital banking methods & disclosures.

When there was a potential security breach at Safeway, DCCU cancelled my Visa credit/debit card. A new one has yet to be issued. Current card declined as I attempted to pay for business lunch. Called service center and Jovana decided to educate me on cyber security, ( incorrectly) and tell me this was not DCCU s fault. When I contacted Acoma branch mgr., Ricardo Perez to report this conduct, and the fact I could not access $ , I received VMW I could drive 35 mid to the closest branch on Saturday to get a new card issued. Where did they find these people?!

I would not not even one star but it made me in order to post this review. 7 years with this branch and I get treated like a number not worth caring about. I started noticing their bad practices this past year. I spoke to the Shane the CEO and he is a piece of work. He was condesending and out right rude. I have watched their quality go down hill these last couple of years. I plan on taking all of my dollars from this bank. I would not open an account here unless you like limited locations, bad service and horrible leadership.

Went into dccu today with a business associate to cash a check and we had all the proper identification. Now how many times have you heard of a teller taken the check to numerous people in the office and telling us that he has to call the people who wrote the check.. Now to make matters worse is after 20 minutes of this crap the teller comes back with a Hispanic man who proceeded to mock as the teller was cashing the check and as we were leaving the Hispanic man kept mocking us.. Now if this were anyone else would this had happen?

Denver Community CU is a great place to do your banking. Twice they have come through for me on a loan while my bank denied me. The staff is always very courteous, professional and great at explaining financial processes. I like how the main branch has extended hours for their drive through in case you need to stop by before work or school. I only wish that they had a branch further North in Denver as I live on the North side of Denver but still a great place.

Got approve for a car loan as easy as 123. Sonya was so calm cool and collective telling about the process answered all of my questions, and was very pleasant to me. Denver Community Credit Union is the BEST around. Holly, the manager at the branch at 1095 Federal Blvd Denver, CO 80204 goes above and beyond to assist members with there financial needs. I would highly recommend this credit union to anyone searching for a friendly and personal service credit union.

I love this place. Denver Community is easy to do business with. I rarely ever have to go to a physical location to do anything, but when I do, I never have any issues. I mostly do everything I need on my phone with their mobile app, which is awesome - so easy to use! No complaints.
