i have an account with these people in dayton ohio.....trying to pay online takes a full 8 hour working shift with one 15 min break... just to sign in and or register i type info it ALWAYS says either"this does not match any of our records" or an error occurred " please fix errors well i put down EXACTLY what i needed to put down and STILL cant pay online this happened last month 3 hours later while getting all upset it finally let me pay..... today? im on my second hour trying to change my password and username and there this error occurred always pops up....maybe my error was to go through these people thats probably what its sayin to me ...i have never had a problem like this with any online payment i make why not just put down the policy number and pin number why do i have to give my lifes info to these people such as a name and address my policy number ALREADY HAS THAT INFO why do i need to display it again and again and again when i always run into errors that occurred???????? the worst and hardest time to give these people money the easiest way for me this is DUMB!!!!!!! 0 STARS for this process wish i never made the decision to go here and spend all day requesting usernames and passwords and all that stupid crap...just a policy number and pin number whats so hard about that? im the only one who knows my policy/pin numbers and if someone else does by any chance why couldnt they let them pay it for me??? and wow just by reading the reviews ...jennifer looks to be needed to be fired wow 2 people on this review thread mention her...hope to god i dont have to deal with her
After several years of doing business, Ohio Mutual Insurance Company decided to raise the deductible on my homeowners insurance policy wind/hail damage coverage from 500.00 to 2500.00. They claim they notified me by mail. What they did was burry it with a bunch of paperwork so no one would notice until it was to late. With that much of a deductible change I would expect at least my rate to go down. No such luck. In fact, it went up. At least they could have given me a heads up phone call. Poor customer service. Needless to say, they are no longer my homeowners insurance company.
THIS INSURANCE COMPANY HIRES INCOMPETENT PEOPLE THAT CANT PERFORM DUTIES NEEDED TO WORK AT A CLAIMS DEPARTMENT .ONE OF THEIR AGENTS JENIFER KAGLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PERSON SHE TOLD THE LIEUTENANT OF MY LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT I SPOKE TO HER POORLY AND WAS TOLD BY THE LIEUTENANT I THREW MULTIPLE F BOMBS AT HER WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH HER.ONLY AN IDIOT WOULD SPEAK TO A CLAIMS PERSON THAT WAY.WORST COMPANY EVER STAY AWAY!!!BEWARE THEY LYE ABOUT YOU TO OTHERS .SATAN WOULD BE A BETTER CLAIMS PERSON THAN THIS WOMAN
My insurance agent is Allnbaugh Insurance Agency, Inc. recommended Mutual of Ohio to my husband and me about 25 years ago. We signed up for Mutual at that time and still have Mutual of Ohio today. I have excellent service through Allenbaugh and Mutual since inception of our policies. I am now a widow and will always use Allenbaugh as my insurance agency. I now have five separate polices with Mutual of Ohio and am and have always been completely satisfied with their taking care of any issue I had or will have.
I HAD put in a good review as the personnel I dealt with were all fantastic, polite, accurate and very helpful. But the company! - Well, just received notice they dropped me based on 2 claims for which I had no fault. Good people crazy company. They could have easily made their money back - definitely not about the customers getting service for their paid accounts, all about the company making money off you for never asking for any back. People - 5 stars. Ohio Mutual - 0 stars.
OMIG is the most professional and caring insurance company I have ever dealt with. After my house suffered catastrophic fire damage, the claims team at OMIG helped me get my life back together. They were prompt, patient, and compassionate. They explained the claim process in detail and reviewed my options with me as a friend would do. I can not imagine working with a more helpful insurance provider.

Worse experience of my life, one of the Spanish/English speaker agent file a $6000 claim taking advantage of me (around 2007, at the time my English was poor), when I switch to a different insurance the new insurance told me about this claim, I almost fainted, this Ohio mutual is the worse, now my daughter a lawyer graduated she will suit this scam company!
I was hit by someone who was insured by this company. They refuse to pay for my car claiming they were not at fault even though their driver was found guilty of speeding and unassured clear distance. Annamarie Ward was a vary rude ,unresponsive and unprofessional person to deal with. I would highly recommend to stay away from this insurance company.
I have had coverage with this company for many years. They have reasonable rates and have always treated us fairly. Was reminded of that again recently when my daughter had an accident. We had just switched our personal auto coverage to them a few mos before. And once again they gave us a fair shake on the settlement
We have used Ohio Mutual for years and it is by far one of the best insurance companies. We recommend it to many of our friends and family members. Some of which have had claims and felt they were handled very thoroughly and with great attention to detail. They have shown how much they truly care!
DON NOT GET THEM! They added a charge to my bill after I canceled then didn’t tell me about it until there was a built up late fee! I pay my insurance six months at a time in full every time. I pay all my bills on time and this is why people hate ohio mutual.
Very pleased with the service I received. All agents were very professional and kept me informed of the progress of my claim. Total time from accident till repairs were made in full, was 1 week. I felt I got excellent service, very pleased with service.
I have been with Ohio mutual Insurance for many years. I recently had to file a claim. They processed the claim quickly and they exceeded my expectations They walked me through it all which took the burden from. Thank you Ohio Mutual.
Just started dealing with this company and already do not like what Im seeing. My car was hit by neighbor insured with this company, 5 days in and yet to talk with the rep handling my claim...missing a lot of overtime sharing one car.
I have been a customer for many years. Have both home and auto with Ohio Mutual. Have not had a claim in a long while but when I did my agent was on top of it and everything was handled quickly. Would recommend to check them out.
The rep who responded to my issue was excellent! The situation was concluded very quickly, now, as long as the repair portion (not controlled by OMI) goes as well as the claim; I will continue to be a VERY HAPPY OMI customer!

I have had my business with Ohio Mutual now for nearly 1 year. The payment plans are simplified and I always get a heads up when payment are being withdrawn. by far one of the better companies to work with.
After 15 years as a no claim customer, they made a serious error on a minor policy change and refused (or ignored) to correct the issue. Both agent and company were incompetent. Never use this company.
I have multiple policies with Ohio Mutual and have never had one ounce of problems with any claims. No one wants to have a claim, but I am happy they have helped me and my family when it was necessary.
Following an accident last fall, Ohio Mutual was very responsive, very helpful. My claim was settled in full, quickly. Everyone I dealt with, in person and by phone, was as helpful as I would wish.
