While researching collections agency to hire, I found Northland Group Inc. Because of how dumb and ridiculous the reviews are, I am going to contact them. My favorite is the old guy who fell answering the phone. Would you sue your Mom if you fell while answering her call?? Seriously.... I am dumber for reading that review. Or the crazy lady would does not answer unknown calls. Is that because you do not pay your bills or think black helicopters will fly in and take all your cats. Or Jose... really??? Your comment is negative and you give them 5 stars. Looks like they deal with crazy people well.

I actually found them to be one of the nicest credit/debt collectors out there. The staff was super professional and really nice about my giant debt, which I was scared to address for a year due to lack of finances. They worked out a simple payment that I was comfortable with and got it set up without any hassle or greedy negotiation tactics. I was actually impressed and relieved. I had a life crisis, and lost everything and had to rebuild my life. I imagine most of the terrible reviews on here are coming from people who have legit debts and are just trying to sneak away from them.

I want to thank you for making me twist my ankle. You called my phone as I ran to my phone I fell. I am 68 years old. I got the phone and it was a robo call. It said hold on you have an important call for me I waited about 5 minutes.Elsa Baker said she was looking to talk to someone else....Well I said I fell and now I am going to sue your company...Have a nice day bye. Well in todays technology you can find anyone instead of using old leads. Check your information before you call to bother the wrong person. I will note this with my Doctor and Lawyer.....

Experience with debt collection usually is one that is filled with awkwardness and confusion. Many of us would rather not believe we owe any individual or corporation money but we know " we messed up ". The representative I spoke with "Andrew" ext **45 ref# (****9135). Was actually comforting. We deal with fraud where I work ( Call center ) and he made the process simple and easy. Break up payments every two weeks scheduled on my Payday, I was set. Thank you Andrew for representing Northland and BEING THE DIFFERENCE for the company! Keep it up!

I have received harassing phone calls from this company multiple times a day for the last four months. When I answer and say my name they immediately hang up. If I only say hello they will ask for a person with a Somali name. I have asked three times for this company to stop calling me because I am not the individual they are seeking, yet I keep getting the calls with immediate hang up. I will be calling businesses that I am with to see if they use Northland and discontinuing my interaction.

i just received a letter from these people saying that they are attempting to collect $37.00. for an over due bill. i called to get information regarding the letter they sent me. instead a really rude lady answered the phone asking me for my personal information. i always pay my bills on time. i know that these is a scam. can anyone advise on what to do with these people?

Received a call in the middle of the day while I was at work. Five second message was left with some female talking to a coworker. Called the number back and found out the call was in reference to an account on which I owed nothing. Female I spoke with was pretty apathetic about disturbing me for no good reason.

Received a letter in the mail for a settlement offer, I called to have the payment date changed. They said that would be no problem. Lo and behold I log on to actually pay it and the offer is not there. So thanks a lot.

I called the number, and the lady on the phone was friendly and professional. The call was quick, around 5 minutes maybe 8 minutes max. No one likes paying a collection agency, but at least they were nice about it.
