I am a member of Ideal Credit Union.. Formely St Paul Postal Employees Credit Union. I have used Us Federal C.U. for many years as it is convenient for me on my way home frome work.. Today I went through the drive thru to withdraw 225 dollars in cash from my checking.. I did not count my money immediately as I have never had a problem there before.. so highly trusted them to be correct.. When I got home and deposited my money into my other checking account I was 20 dollars short.. checking the receipt I saw that 205 dollars had been disbursed instead of 225.. I called US Federal and they told me that the drawer balanced with 225 and that the teller must have typed in the wrong amount.. as the disbursed amount showed 200 in 20s and 5 1s.. My credit union called me and said that US had withdrawn 225 from my account.and I should go talk to a supervisor to straighten it out with US Federal. The explanation was that the drawer balanced out.. and they could not do anything.. and that the money disbursed on the bottom of the receipt was not important.. as it could have been typed in wrong.. Yet the money disbursed matched the money I received.. So where did my other 20 dollars go?.. If I had withdrawn a 1000 dollars and they disbursed only 500.. and toojk a thousand out of my checking account.. where would that go.. Obviously not to me... What a RIP OFF. Unfortunately cannot give it 0 Stars.

I was a devote Wells Fargo customer, until I learned of this Credit Union. There is literally no comparison if you are local. If you are travelling around the world, Wells Fargo has a leg up, for all other causes I use US Fed. Low interest rates, fantastic customer service, just all around a joyful experience!
