Would not use them again. - Price quoted for duct cleaning was twice what a competitor charged and more than anyone I called - They did the install, and put a screw into a water pipe instead of using glue. As a result, rust leaked into the electronics panel for years. Fortunately a competitor caught it and alerted me to it before the panel was destroyed. When I confronted the company, they fixed it, but insisted there was nothing wrong with that method, despite having the damage right in front of them! They refused to clean or replace the housing which is now full of rust. - The zone damper never worked. We only realized what was wrong after the initial labor warranty ran out (but not the parts warranty). They quoted us $750 to fix it, even though their own mechanic admitted they had likely broken it during installation !!! - When I was advised that they should cover it regardless of the warranty if it was an installation error, I had them come back. Suddenly they quoted me $200 for the same job (which they should have corrected for free), and they had no explanation for why their other technician (from their own company!) had quoted me $750. Clearly they were trying to get money out of me for work that did not need to be done.

Yesterday an employee claiming to be the owners son did an estimate for central air in our rental, when we got home from work we found a cupboard open (no where that should have been opened, my towel closet) and items were stolen. When I called concerning this incident whoever i spoke with was completely unconcerned and his exact response was "So youre saying my person did it?" And when i told him that he was the only one in the home he said well then go ahead and call the cops.... So that is what i intend to do, and I would strongly reconsider allowing these people into your home.

They broke my water heater when they serviced it. It still functioned but is now impossible to service without repair. I called several times but they keep coming up with a new excuse each time and promise they will take care of it. I am sending a letter to the Oregon CCB.

Their quote was substantially lower than competitors and I was very happy with their service and the product. They called to remind me to schedule appointments to service my furnace and heat pump and always showed up when they said they would.

We had several companies quote us for installing a ductless heatpump and Home Comfort was the best. They gave the best price and the best install method. The install crew were polite, communicative and clean.
