I recently just bought a new home and discovered that I had a leaky roof after the first few storms. I made many calls to many roofing companies in Grand Rapids to request quotes but Weatherhead and Sons was the only company that actually came out to quote it. They climbed on the roof and checked things out very thoroughly before beginning to quote the project. They sat down with me and laid out the costs line by line including exactly what they make from the project. Due to their current work load, they let me know in advance that it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could come out which sounded reasonable to me. They made it out in the promised time a crew was there working still when I arrived home from work. In 2 days, everything was done and cleaned up. The workers were very personable and willing to talk and answer questions. There was some slight interior damage from the repairs but they arrived a month later after they were sure the leaking was resolved an fixed the cosmetic issues inside as well. No questions asked. No argument required. I paid about 25% up front and the remainder when the job was completely finished. No complaints. I will keep there information for future roofing/wood work jobs.

They’ve installed replacement windows, added porches, remodeled master baths, and completely restored our 1930s-era vacation home in northern Michigan. I appreciate their professionalism; the accuracy, competitiveness, and completeness of their estimates; and their willingness to discuss major, or minor, modifications to the original project design. As a bonus, they’re fun to have around. I would recommend them without reservation.

Weatherhead & Sons did a fantastic job on my roof. The group of installers clearly knew what they were doing, were professional and no-nonsense. After they completed the job there was no trace that they were ever there except the great looking roof! The entire job took only a few days and included shingle removal and some new wood and flashing repair work too. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and the price. I highly recommend!

Weatherhead Roofing is a very professional company. Andy came to our home to give us an estimate and explained what they would do and suggested a shingle to us.. All went very well. The crew showed up on thine and got to work. Very well originated crew and every one knew their jobs. Two days later we had a nice new roof. They cleaned up our lot and did not leave a mess. so I was quoted 5000 and 2000 by different companies in grand rapids to fix the leak in my closet. Bryce at Weatherhead & Sons simply purposed a different approach that could fix the problem for 150 dollars!!!! Garage roof developed an unusual leak this year and I could not figure out what was causing it. I called them.
