I have had three experiences with Palmer Construction. The first time they came out to inspect my roof for a hail storm at a time when Garn was going through our neighborhood and more than half of the 36 houses on our street had their shingles replaced. I was told that, although my shingles were not in very good shape at all, it was not due to hail damage. He would not tell me, or the insurance company that I needed a new roof, even though he would have made money on it. I always take note of a business that leaves money on the table to be honest. At that point I had them fix a couple small problems and hoped to get a few more years out of the old roof. Two years later my roof started leaking and I called them to replace the shingles. They were very forthright with information on which products were best and the corresponding prices. I was, again, very happy with the professionalism they showed. They were done in two days and on there way. My third experience with them came about 6 months after they replaced the roof. I noticed a water mark near my back door. I assumed that it was related to the the new roof, since I had lived in this home for 11 years and it had never done that in the past. When I called Palmer they sent someone out and he pulled some of the siding off and discovered that the siding around a window above the door not been installed correctly and showed me the water stain under the siding that led straight down to where it was staining the ceiling. After fixing it and having shown me that it had nothing to do with the roof they had installed, I assumed that I would be charged for the repair. I was wrong. When I asked what I owed, he said, "No charge. We are happy to help our customers in situations like this. We appreciate your business!" I am sure there are other companies out there with integrity, the tough part is finding them. This is one of those companies!!

The estimate for my roofing job, given by the sales consultant, was competitive with others I received. The roofing consultant did a great job outlining specifically what & how it would be done, my choices in terms of shingle material---the pros & cons of each option, etc. The thoroughly explained specifics are what made me decide to sign a contract with Palmer Construction to do this job. It was estimated the job would take 2-3 days, and a start date was set up. The work crew was fantastic. A large dumpster was parked next to the house in front of one side of my 2-car garage since 2 layers of old shingles needed to be removed. The crew draped my shrubbery, etc. for protection. The members of the crew were friendly, very professional and hard working. Various roofing materials were neatly stacked near the dumpster for easy access, At the end of the day, everything was neatly put away, and the area around the house was spotless. The job was completed in 2 days. Afterwards, a crew member went around the house with a metal detector to gather up a roofing nails that may have fallen. Either the sales consultant or the division manager went up on the roof for a final inspection 2 or 3 days later and verified everything was performed as specified. The payment requirements were very reasonable, and the front office staff was easy to work with. Very satisfied with a great job well done!

Palmer Construction did an excellent job on re-roofing our 90 year old home. The roofing team led by Jeremiah was very skilled and took extra care (as we requested) to avoid damaging the surrounding flowerbeds even though it may have slowed them down. The Division Manager, Dan Smeak, was extremely helpful (in each conversation he asked - do you have any other questions) and made sure all the final details were resolved satisfactorily. The price quote for the work was competitive with other similar companies, but the workmanship and attentiveness to customer requests was top notch. We will highly recommend Palmer Construction to all our friends and neighbors.

I had my roof replaced late last summer. They sat down with me and went through all of my options and the materials they use. They had a large crew that was extremely efficient. They spared no expense in making sure that my home and yard were protected and all the materials from the tear off were cleaned up. The crew worked a long day and managed to complete the job in one day. They had someone come back out to inspect the work several days later. There crew is extremely professional and I truly believe the quality of their work is second to none. I highly recommend Palmer Construction!!

Bill sat down with my husband and I went over all the aspects of replacing our roof. He highlighted not only the quality materials, but the high level of workmanship they use. They go above and beyond standards required. They also do a system of checks and re-checks to make sure everything is installed properly. The workers were professional, on time, did quality work, and the roof was completed within the time frame they estimated. I also found communication with Palmer Construction very easy. Overall I highly recommend them.
