Please, please, please do not use this company. We had a large system installed in our basement last fall and we are STILL dealing with them. Our issues: 1) At the initial consultation, we were told they would install a system in two weeks. The sales person did a great job. We put down a deposit on the spot. A few days later when no one contacted us as had been discussed, we called the office. The office relayed that the system could not be installed for 2 months. We were not thrilled due to the fact that we would have family in town, but we wanted a great system installed by a well reviewed company, so we waited. 2) Our basement was a mess after the install with dust covering everything.This was small and I did not even approach them regarding it because I was so excited at the time to have a dry basement. (As a side note, my husband was very impressed with how well the guys worked together during the install.) 3) After the install, we found an outdoor drainage system installed in our front yard. The contract stated that the company gets to choose the location, but I thought they would talk to us about it. After only a couple of weeks, our front lawn became sludgy and we could not mow within 5 feet of the discharge. My husband and I had to take turns calling and emailing over several months in order to get a viable solution that would not cost us $3k to fix it (and it turned out there was a viable option!). It took them so long to fix this issue, that during the winter we had an icy driveway and sidewalk (which the location was supposed to prevent). 4) When technicians came out to find a solution to move the discharge to, they took pictures of how the system was installed incorrectly to begin with. 5) Most recently, we started putting our basement back together. Our handyman called us to let us know we had standing water in a corner of the living are. Thank goodness we were putting our guest bedroom back together first. Upon calling Ayers, they said their first appointment to send out a service person would be 8 business days or 12 actual days away. Water is seeping into our basement. We have standing water. Overall, I just really do not want anyone else to have to go through this. We are now over 6 months in with this company that I checked out with on BBB and on Google. We have filed a complaint with BBB as well to try to help other consumers become informed.

Very unhappy with the clean up. We had been told by the project manager that the area would be blocked off where they walk through to take items to dumpster. All they did was put some plastic on the carpet where they were walking. They actually left the dirt covered plastic on the first night and we took it up ourselves so that we did not track more dirt. There was mud on the wall and a heavy coating of dust throughout the house. They left the water heater off so we had no hot water in the morning. I sent an e-mail to the project manager the first night and he did not respond. We have a very tight crawl space and I appreciate how difficult it was for them to do the work. I think that it took longer than planned and they were anxious to leave. The foreman did not even show me the completed work, he explained the warranty, gave me some forms and collected the check. I am very hopeful that the actual waterproofing will perform as promised. This review is not about the job itself, rather it is about the way my house was left and the lack of response from the project manager. I had referred Ayers to a friend, but I will rescind that.

This was the only company that I could find in Michigan that could do the work I needed to be done. Zach Kneger and his crew were on time, professional, & very hard working. They did a fantastic job, cleaned up the job site & work done as promised. My basement was transformed from mildewy yucky space to very clean & fresh. The most impressive fact is, after the final inspection and my check cleared the bank, I called Zack back with two minor things that were not caught in the final inspection. He stuck to his word, came back and made it right. First Class Customer Service all the way from Zack. This company is first class all the way and Zack the foreman delivered.

WOW Service!!! Great job done here by David, Matt and Hunter!!! Thanks guys!!! Professional crew that was informative and caring. Spray foam was a concern for me-David sprayed the rim joists of our crawlspace and so far so healthy. I think it cured up like the product is supposed to. The SilverGlo insulation on our crawl walls and the CleanSpace encapsulation system covering up the dirt, will surely be a beneficial energy saver. In addition, our crawl entry, has never before been so inviting. Done on 6/2/2016 in 6hrs. Note to others-It helps to do the prep work (In our case anyhow) and then the guys can come in and do the rest of the job.

Ayers has exceptional customer service, they are professional, polite and stay in communication throughout the process. I felt well informed about the options for fixing my basement problem. Will Badra came to look at my basement and spent a lot of time answering my questions and that indicated to me that I would be treated as a valued customer and I was. Nick Wolf and his crew did an excellent job. Nick also spent time answering questions and explaining the work they were doing. They did a great job protecting my house as they were going in and out of the basement. I am happy that I chose Ayers and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been recommending Ayers Basement Systems for years, as I run across many wet basements and crawlspaces in my line of work (home inspector). I have seen numerous completed projects of theirs, all being very professionally executed. When spring rolled around this year and water started leaking in my basement, I knew just who to call. Zach, Jose and Nick receive an A+ from me. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely hard working pretty much sums these guys up. We could not be happier with the work that Ayers just completed in our basement. We had recently discovered that we had water coming in and contacted Ed from Ayers. He, with the support of Brittany, were able to get someone out very quickly to assess the situation and schedule the work to be done. Josh and his crew completed the work in a timely manor and cleaned up the work area before they left. When we discovered we had a small electrical issue after the job was completed, Josh drove back to our place to help correct it. We fully recommend Ayers.

Travis and his crew arrived promptly, came well prepared, and were very professional. We just added to our Ayers Basement System and are very pleased with the service and professionalism everyone showed us. Joshua and his crew were great. They went over all the details to confirm what we were doing and then went straight to work. I could not believe how quickly and neatly they finished the task. Josh worked hard and his crew were very detailed and when finished the entire area was clean. You can tell how great a company is by the people that work there, how they treat you and the work they complete for you.

They failed to show up for three scheduled appointments to do major work on my basement. They also called on an additional day indicating they were on the way but had no scheduled appointment and I was not home. When I expressed concern about the lack of professionalism there was just no response. I finally had to cancel the job. What I would say was that the level of time that they put in putting a plan together for the project was good.

Adam, Chuck, and Nick (the installation crew) arrived on time (in fact 10 minutes early) and got right to work. They ran into hard clay which made their work very difficult, but they remained cheerful, solved the problem and got the job done on time. I am very satisfied with the overall job and clean up. Joshua Case came to my house and did some installation work, Joshua and his co-worker did an excellent job. They explained what they were going to do and how it would be done. When the work was done they made sure that the area was cleaner than when they started. I plan to have more work done in the future and will request that they be able to do the work.

Could not tell if good or bad as 3 different people called to schedule appointment and got tired of the unprofessional way of handling. Every one had a different time and all said they were the one taking care of . Had a time span from next week to 2 months depending on which person we talked to . Hopefully we get our money back as we cancelled .

It took over a month for Ayers to even start the job. Then a "2-day job" turned into 4 days, and even then it was not complete (see photos I posted). They expected me to pay for the finishing work. I refused to pay my balance until my basement was fixed. They ended up hiring an outside person who did a great job.

Nate does and outstanding job at explaining how everything works and making sure everything was done right. They answered all my questions. Very professional crew. I would recommend Ayers to anyone.
