I have been absolutely blown away by my experience with Sunlight Contractors. From the very moment I called, Ira was helpful, responsive, and easy to talk to. After our first conversation he sent me all kinds of videos that educated me on exactly what was going on in my house and why it was losing so much heat in the winter and cool air in the winter. I cannot tell you what it was a relief to find someone who was an expert in this field, that I could trust to guide me in the right direction. I shopped around for a couple quotes and Sunlight was on par—if not less than—other contractors that weren’t nearly as pleasant to work with or as knowledgable in their field. Because I work at home I was in an extra hurry to get the work done and Ira bent over backwards to make sure it got on their schedule as quickly as possible. When his team arrived they were friendly, informative, and considerate and dare I say even fun to be around. They did what’s called a blower test and walked me around the house showing me where exactly all the air leaks are and giving me tips on how to improve things not even related to the work they were doing! I’ve only had my spray foam attic installed today, so this glowing review is speaking to how awesome the Sunlight team is, without even having first hand experience with their product!! I’ll make sure to update my review once I’ve lived with my new roof for a few weeks but all signs point to me absolutely loving it. If you are miserable in your house, and confused or frustrated about what to do about it, CALL THEM NOW and at least understand your options. They are great at educating newbie home owners like me without any sales pressure whatsoever. Thank you Sunlight!

Ian Falshaw — 5 star I recently had my attic space spray foamed by Sunlight and have only good things to say about the experience. I did my research on the process and tried to obtain quotes from 2 other companies in the area. From the very beginning Ira and his team were the most professional , helpful and communicative. They were particularly helpful when one of the other companies indicated that my attic was not a "good candidate" for the spray foam process and that I should just replace with the existing cellulose insulation. Both Ira and Corey took extra time to explain their views, sent additional information and convinced me that they were the right company for my project and that they guaranteed a cooler, air sealed attic. It is over a week since the job was completed and my family is already noticing the difference with our bedrooms much cooler and I am definitely noticing that the AC system is not "kicking in" so much during the course of the day. The difference is particularly noticeable in our master bedroom where before the installation the afternoon temperature was 82-83 degrees. We are now able to keep that area at 78 degrees during the day and the AC only operates intermittently. Obviously too early to see monetary gains from an energy perspective but we are happy. Many thanks to the installation team too. Alan, Ricky and Louis were great guys, treated my home with respect and left the place clean and tidy

At first I was unsure whether to go with open cell or closed cell on a metal roof.I called 3 companys and demanded the owners to come out and explain to me,which is better for me to use .Not only did Ira the salesman form sunlight contractors were the first to respond he also set a date for a consultation. The owner Corey came out and explained the answers to all my questions.I kept repeating that I wanted  a good job.He told me that his supervisor Allen Carr would be on the job from start to finish and he would make sure that all my needs are met.Well ,when allen  and his guys arrived i was standing on my porch like a drill sargent.I told him that i will be watching him like a hawk and i wanted a good job. Allen went over every inch of the attic and told me the procedures and the correct way to install the open cell.Allen and his guys did that.Allen carr and his guys were very respectful and professional.Last week I set my a/c at 79 degrees and it would not shut off.this week i set my a/c at 72 and it shuts off for most of the day and its hot outside.Wow this really works.Now I actually can be comfortable in my own house.I feel like i should have done this a long time ago.I feel like sunlight contracting did the best job.They would be hard to out perform,and guess what, they beat the other two companies bids.Thanks  sunlight contracting.I will tell all my friends and family. At first I was unsure which insulation company I would use for my project. I researched and interviewed several other companies for months and Sunlight Contractors stood out with their certifications and extensive knowledge. Throughout my 4 month project Sunlight Contractors answered every question I had and backed it up with intelligent answers and product paperwork which no one else did. Many companies give the wrong advise and you get mixed up but trust me Sunlight Contractors are pros. Because of their professionalism and constant quick replies to all my questions I chose Sunlight Contractors. They recently spray foamed open cell in the roof line and closed cell in the walls of my metal building. I can already feel the difference. What made me realize why everyone has trust and confidence in Sunlight Contractors is the following. The crew of 4 forgot to spray a small section in my building around 300 square feet in an enclosed room. I called them and they apologized immediately making an appointment convenient with my time schedule. They came back exactly when promised and took care of it perfectly. I couldn’t be happier To me you can’t put a price tag on being straight forward and trust. Knowing that a company immediately takes care of any issue means everything to me. It’s no wonder why Sunlight Contractors have all those great reviews all over social media.

We used Sunlight Contractor this past June, 2015, to spray foam our attic. Like most, we shopped around for quotes and ultimately found similar prices. However Sunlight stood out to us through our conversations and the knowledge they portrayed. Ira, in the office, was very kind to answer the many questions that we had. As an individual in the construction industry, my fiance was impressed that he was not just "talk" but truly knew the ins and outs of the roof heat transfer, construction codes, and building envelope design. Not only was Sunlight Contractors professional, but they have passion to get the job done right. The whole process was very quick and easy. The results have been amazing. While our thermostat settings have not changed, the house now has a constant comfort level that was missing. We are no longer hot waiting for the air unit to kick on. The house is able to maintain our temperature and has allowed us to make the attic a useable storage space that we do not dread going up into. We would definitely recommend Sunlight Contractors.

I called Sunlight Contractors to help me resolve an issue with a home I just purchased. It was a very unique situation that required extensive knowledge on insulation and vapor barriers. I was very pleased to see that Sunlight Contractors had a very informed staffed that took the time to evaluate my problem during the quoting process. They gave me several recommendations along with some really great information on how to resolve the issue (all of this before signing a contract with them). In the end, I had Sunlight Contractors spay closed cell foam under my raised home. They sprayed the entire first floor, including the joists. The installation was superb (I looked over every inch after it was completed) and the installation staff was on time and very thorough. As an engineer, I design buildings for a living, I really understand energy efficiency, and I deal with contractors on a daily basis. I highly recommend Sunlight Contractors for your home or business as they are an honest contractor who does the job right.

My husband and I are not the type to write reviews online, but we feel as though this company has exceeded our expectations and more. My husband, Adrian, is in the HVAC business and has seen a lot of spray foam jobs gone wrong and was very leery about who we hire to spray our house. We then called Mr. Ira and he spoke to my husband for about an hour on the phone answering any questions we had for him. They sent a representative for the company out the same day to give us a quote. These people are professionals!!! We knew right then and there that we wanted them to do the job! The crew was so polite and walked us through any questions we had during the process. Mr. Ira has kept in touch with us before...during...and after to make sure we are 100% happy with the work that was done. It has been two days and our house feels completely different. From Start to finish they followed through on everything they said that they would do, their communication was excellent. The same day that I received the quote I also received an email with their proof of insurance, and a very thorough explanation of the material that they use. I felt much more informed about what I was purchasing and who I was purchasing it from. We have saved about 30-40% on our electrical bill! Not to mention it is much quieter in the house. You cant hear the "outside" noise as much. That was an unexpected bonus!!! Sunlight Contractors has made a loyal customer out of me. If there is something that I need done at my home or my place of business I will always call Sunlight Contractors first before anyone else. They are by far the best, not just because they do good work but because they care about their clients! Give them the chance to make a loyal customer out of you. I promise they wont let you down!

My brother recently used sunlight contractors for a large new home project and I know how much research he does before using a product or company, so I knew before hand they had to be a good quality and reputable company. So when I decided to have the walls of an older home I was redoing for my son insulated I called them. We discussed options and I decided to have the walls filled with dense packed cellulose. The two men they sent out were very professional and friendly answering all of my questions and concerns. This is a messy job but they kept it to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with the end result and will have them back to do the attic as soon as I can get it emptied. Maybe by the time I empty the attic and have it done I can tell you how much the wall insulation saved me in energy cost. Great job guys I would highly recommend this company thanks.

Just had Sunlight Contractors blow Spray Foam Insulation in my up stairs attic. My up stairs has historically been either to hot in the summer or to cold in the winter. I have been in the attic several times since the install to check on the temperature. I am so impressed with how much cooler the attic is now that we have the Spray Foam Insulation. The upstairs air conditioner is not running all day long like it was in the past. They also had to remove all of the old fiberglass insulation before the install of the Spray Foam Insulation.. The crew that removed the old fiberglass insulation was friendly and did a quick and efficient job of removing all of the old unnecessary nasty fiberglass insulation. If you are considering Spray Foam Insulation for your home or business. I would highly recommend Sunlight Contractors.
