Currently we have asked Collins Roofing to come to our house and look at their workmanship and tell us what they see. We have pictures of holes in the plywood that is laid when the roof is installed. Rather than fix the plywood, they laid down the black wrap and shingles overtop the hole thinking it would never be seen. We have three vents in the roof that were installed and they have slowly leaked water until it gets noticed with a big rainfall. These vents have caused my electricity to short out in one bathroom. I am probably lucky the house has not caught fire. My wife has called the warranty department at Collins Roofing and was told by having someone place tarps on the roof to prevent further damage, we have voided our warranty. This same warranty department says that the house would have never passed inspection if there was anything wrong with their roof. I am not the only homeowner in my neighborhood that has had thus problem. Five other homeowners, with the same model house have the same problems. We have contact J. Douglas Lanier, CPRC , CEO, Collis Roofing. We are hoping he is a man of integrity and will stand behind his companies workmanship. This roof needs to be repaired properly along with all the damage that has been caused because of the roof. I will certainly write a follow-up review to inform everyone how this turns out. Our home was just over its first year warranty when hurricane Irma hit Central Florida. Naturally, we thought the damage was due to the storm, so we contacted Collis Roofing. Based on the damage throughout Orlando, we were prepared to wait 1-2 weeks before receiving a reply. Fortunately, that was not the situation with Collis. The following morning, we received a call from Andrew Mosher apologizing for the delay in responding – what??? In a non-crisis situation, I can’t even get my wife to call me back within 24hrs. We scheduled an appointment with Andrew to inspect our roof. He was on-time and very professional. After inspecting the roof, he informed us that although we lost a large portion of our shingles, it was not due to the storm. Apparently, the nails were overdriven - when the pressure is set too high on a nail gun, the heads of the nails punch right through the mat of the shingle and greatly increases the potential for shingles to blow off. Rather than trying to sell us new roof, which he said we will need, he suggested we contact the builder and then helped us prepare for the conversation. We have since contacted the builder and are in the process of having a new roof installed at no cost. I may not have used Collis for this roof, but I assure you, Collis will receive all my referrals until I need one. Thank you Andrew!

Because we are retired the decision to hire a company to replace our roof was critical. Dave Perrault from Collis Roofing helped make our decision very easy. He presented the options available to reroof and together we found the right roof color and warranty plans to go with our budget. He also took it upon himself to help us file on our 25-year warranty on the existing roof to help defray some of the expense. Dave also referred us to a company for a wind mitigation inspection to help with our homeowners insurance. His easy manner, customer first attitude and extensive knowledge on roofing was one of the major deciding factors in going with Collis Roofing. The process took three days and every day someone from Collis Roofing contacted us to make sure everything was being done to our satisfaction. The roof is beautiful and we have had three neighbors go with Collis Roofing for their roofing needs after we described our re roofing experiences with Collis. We highly recommend Collis Roofing to anyone who needs either repairs or a roof replacement.

Collis Roofing did a phenomenal job on our new roof. Greg provided a detailed quote and that is the price I paid. Throughout the entire process, Greg made sure I was well taken care of. The crew arrived on time and finished on time. I received approximately 5 quotes while looking for a new roof. Collis Roofing was the only company that told me I had unusual wind damage that may be covered by my insurance. I asked the other companies if they felt that the insurance company would cover the damage. Every company said, no, your roof is just old and needs to be replaced. On the advice I Greg, I called my insurance company to see if I had any damage that would be covered by insurance. To my surprise, the insurance company said I had wind damage that resulted in over 50% of the roof being damaged. As a result I ended up getting a new roof and you bet Collis was my company. Collis Roofing is a top notch professional organization and I would recommend them to anyone.

I used Collis to replace my roof. The actually roof replacement work is fine. The issue I have is with the estimator. He came out gave an estimate. He stated that this number on the contract was for roof replacement and does not include any wood replacement. I asked what the estimate for wood replacement would cost, He stated about $2,000 or a little more. I said fine, signed the contract. Then the roofer came out and started making another list for more wood than what was originally ordered. The problem I have with Collis is that all the wood replaced was exposed and visible to the estimator and truly believe he lied to me to make a sale. I ended up paying 2.5 times what he originally told me what the wood would cost. So beware of this if you plan on using them either get it writting in the contract or go with a cheaper roofer, because whether you are the most expensive or not they all have to following building codes.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Ive had a leak in my roof for who knows how long. Collis Roofing did a leak test on my roof and it was confirmed that yes there was a leak. Thank god I noticed a brown spot on my ceiling because my house would probably be destroyed right now. They did not want to take responsibility. But ended up fixing my roof. They said I had from the vents. They replaced the vents and tiles surrounding it. When they finished I ask for them to do another leak test. They refused to do a leak test after they "fixed the job they messed up in the first place" They told me you will have your leak test next week when it rains. Seriously? who says that to someone when they screwed up their roof. They are unprofessional and rude!!! I do not recommend at all. BEWARE. Ive read other reviews with the same problem. They made their money they just LAZY now.

I had an appointment to get an estimate on replacing my roof. They were suppose to come out last Thursday Sept 19th at 10am. The worker called at 10:20 saying he was running late & he would be to my home A.S.A.P. I said ok, that was fine. At 12:30 he still has not arrived so I called the office, he was there and said he thought I said I would be home all day. No, I never said that, and remember he said he was on his way over 2 hours ago. He finally came to home around 1:30 that afternoon. He said he would email me the estimate that day but if not the next day. Well I is 6 days later & I still have not received an estimate or a phone call from this company. I am very unpleased with this company & would never recommend them to anyone. Needless to say we are having our roof replaced by a company who believes in customer service.

We made an appointment with Collis Roofing to come out and take a look at our roof three weeks prior for an afternoon. Collis called a week before and requested it be changed to same day morning. My wife stayed home from work and waited on them all morning. By 12:30pm nobody had shown up or called to give an update. She called them and they said someone will call you right away. Still nobody called back. She called the office to ask if the appointment was still valid and her call was received very rudely by Kayleigh (sp?). When she cancelled she was just told "well sorry", and that was that. I guess Collis believes they have enough business they do not need any more. That is fine with us because there are other roofers in town, and we love to spread the word around about customer service, both good and bad.

I hired Collis to repair my roof, they sent a salesman over, Brian who was professional when he got there. He also was supposed to give me additional quotes on doors and additional roof work that I wanted completed. I got the quote for the repair, but had to bother him to get the other quotes. They waited until about 3 days prior to coming out to schedule the job, and when they got there, did a decent job, with the exception of damaging my driveway. Brian was all over me for payment and assured me that someone would be in touch about my driveway... I have tried to email, and called the office, but no-one has called or emailed back. Seems silly to contact an attorney for something like this. If I were you, I would be careful with this company.

I could not have been happier with the end product. New roof and metal soffits, crew came and installed, yard and drive way had not one nail after the work was completed. Dustin ran the crew and could not have been more informative thru the whole process. Also one of the reasosn Collis got the job is directly due to the representative Christopher Zweifach. I called over seven roofers, and I would ask follow up questions no one would call back except for Chris. He called back on weekends .. even at night, that simple act showed me whom deserved my business. You guys did a bang up job.

I contacted Collis Roofing and Jack promptly came out and gave me an estimate. Although the price was not the least expensive they promised quality workmanship and materials. When they finished I was surprised about the difference between the old and new roof... it looked great! The roof was installed with care and the flat roof now has a pitch on it that the water will run off of. No more puddling! I would recommend them to my neighbors who are already asking me about my roof and the company. They are talking about getting theirs done soon. Thank you Collis Roofing!

I scheduled a replacement quote several weeks in advance because as I explained to the scheduler i run a small company and would need to clear my schedule. I was assured this would not be a problem and that they give exact arrival times. 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time the salesman Wally Martin called to cancel stating "something came up". When I contacted the office to voice my frustration I was told "Mr. Martin already apologized you will be contacted to reschedule" It would be nice if they even pretended to value their customers time as much as their own

I had an entire roof reroofed on a 1927 house and Collis Roofing did a great job! They were very professional and courteous. They kept the area very neat and clean during the entire reroofing job. They kept me informed along the way as the job progressed up to completion. I would highly recommend their services to everyone. I feel they are one of the best roofers in Central Florida and the entire state. I would use their services again for roofing problems as well as all the other services they offer. I highly recommend Collis Roofing. When the inspector for the shingle company inspected the roof he confirmed what we knew. The roof was expertly installed and will last for many years. Every interaction with this company was professional. From the initial call to to the office to the final clean up. The roof installers were hot and tired yet they took the time to inspect every area of our yard for stray nails and roofing material.

COLLIS Roofing did a fantastic job of replacing our entire root after it had been damaged last year during the rainy season. The work was performed in a very expeditious manner. COLLINS went above and beyond our expectations. Additionally, COLLIS caught many items that the insurance inspector missed completely and resolved the discrepancy directly w/ the adjusters w/out any intervention in our part. My wife and I are extremely pleased.
