Old Trane Heat Pump needed replacement after 26 years of service. Based on this good service I wanted to stay with Trane and and found that Arctic Bear was the dealer in our area. Did a Google search and read reviews and called them. Lucas came out and provided information such that I could make an informed decision and was low key and very professional. I visited with two of their recent customers to see work performed and listen to remarks which were very positive. We decided on the 20i for efficiency and quiet operation. Jason came out with his Team and completely EXCEEDED my expectations. He decided to increase the input ducting for air handler to improve efficiency of unit and completely rebuild supporting structure. They moved outside unit off back deck to side of house which gave us more deck space and no noise, although the 20i is very quiet. They showed us how to use the computer control mounted on wall and were happy to answer any and all questions. Bottom Line - They were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and cleaned up after installation. My wife LOVES the even temperature and how quiet the system is. Yup, I took out a service agreement such that competent professionals can keep our system in tip top condition. - Great Job!

I give Arctic Bear Plumbing, Heating & Air Inc. 5 stars an excellent rating. They explained to me that my air vent was covered with snow and that is why the igniter in my furnace burned out. They even took me outside and showed me where the air vent was on my kerosene tank. Arctic Bear professionals thank you for educating me on this. I never thought about my kerosene tank having a air vent. These professionals did not have to educate me on my mistake of not clearing the air vent of snow. So, Thank you Arctic Bear professionals for educating me on the air vent to my kerosene tank so I save money in the future and protect my furnace from the same problem happening again.

We needed an opinion on a new whole house filter system, called Arctic Bear they responded immediately. They came to our home tested our water,looked at our situation and were at our home 5 days later to begin the installation of a new system. The pricing was more than fair and the installer was very polite. He also did a very thorough job and 1 week later they followed it up with a testing of our water again to make sure everything was working correctly. Evan and Shannon both were thorough in their explanation of how the system works and I would recommend them to others who may need their professional services.

We got 3 estimates for a water treatment system, Arctic Bear was priced in the middle but offered the same technology as the higher price. The salesman showed up on time to our appointment and did not waste any of our time. The installation crew showed up, noticed an issue on another component and explained the issue and the solution. I was very happy they were able to fix it while they were on site and the charge for that additional work was fair. The office was great to work with as well. Overall, a great experience!

Our Forced-hot air HVAC system is under service contract since major issues found in spring Heat system service had no issues. The contract has saved me money and make repairs of smoother. The spring AC fix took longer than expected but at a pre-agreed cost. Service tech had worked a weekend under and EZ-Up and Tarps to get job done when the rain started. He was there long enough for the local Downey woodpeckers to get comfortable with is presence and use the suet that were just 6ft. away.

Jim at Arctic Bear did a awesome job. Had my heat up and going in 10 minutes for just the dispatch fee. Aunichie** in Binghamton came to my house right before Arctic bear and quoted me $700 for some "repair" when Jim from Arctic bear had it up and going in no time at all. Lit the pilot and turned the gas valve on. Something the other company failed to do even the basics. Very helpful and honest. Very opposite from Aunichie**. Thanks again Jim at Arctic Bear !!

Alex did a great job. I had an automatic water distiller installed that required new plumbing and pump. Works great now. He also installed a new pex line and a freeze-proof outdoor faucet. No more frozen line!
