Waychoffs appears on the front to be an outstanding company. Which is one of the reason we were so thrilled to use them. They installed our a/c unit. The a/c unit install was fine. They also insulated our attic. The 1st installer in the attic rushed through the job and didn’t install as much as we originally paid for. We double checked behind them and discovered it wasn’t done properly. We informed the company and they came back and made it right. The supervisor was very apologetic and said that the installer was in a hurry and was trying to get done quickly. We decided to use them for our yearly service for our residence and our rental. When the technician came to do the service, he didn’t clean out the bottom of the outside unit pans on either place. I’m not even sure he really did anything other than diagnose it because our rental is approx. 10 minutes from our house. He emailed me the invoice at 1:19pm, for my residence when he left, take off 10 minutes to travel. Then emailed the rental invoice at 1:55pm. That seems like not much time to do a thorough job on the unit in my opinion. My confidence in this company in doing a thorough job now is zero. When I called to let them know, they said they would send him back out to make it right. The operations supervisor said that he talked to the technician and he said that he was in a hurry and forgot. Appears to be a common theme. Rush, rush, and hurry, hurry. When the tech called me the next day he acted like he was oblivious as to why he was coming back. Keep in mind he was supposedly talked to by the operations supervisor already about the issue. When I explained to him that he didn’t clean out the pans he tried to say that it didn’t need to be done. I took pictures, showing lots of debris in the bottom pan and sent them to the operations manger and the sales rep. I called the operations supervisor back and told him that the tech acted oblivious to me on the phone, and made up excuses to me that it didn’t need to be done, when the pictures clearly showed it did in fact need to be done. The operations supervisor told me that it was written down very clear in the Tech’s work ticket why he was coming back, and he supposedly talked to him already anyway. Both the operations supervisor and the sales rep agreed it is something that should be done at each 6-month visit, that it needed done, and that it was a part of the maintenance package. I tried requesting a new Tech, because at this point I just felt uneasy about this guy lying to me and not doing a thorough job, and they refused to send a new one out so they are fired! When you lie to your customers, don’t be surprised if they fire you and go somewhere else. This is unacceptable for a company of this size with their reputation! I recommend to all reviewers of this company to check behind any installation and your technicians work. They might try to do half the work for the full price, and speak up.

Recently I had to replace my airconditioning system, inside and out. As we all know this is an expensive undertaking and who wants to deal with the hassle anyway. I heard an add on WOKV, by Neal Boortz and I felt I could trust his endorsement, knowing he would not endorse anything without knowing the kind of people they are at Waychoff. But still, I thought, i had that tiny nagging in the back of my mind.....are they really what they say? Well to my great pleasure they are. I had tried to get a quote from another A/C business but they were unable to get anyone to my house for TWO WEEKS. So i called Waychoff and starting with the lady who answered the phone I was treated the way I want to be treated by a company where I am about to spend thousands of dollars. She put Tracy Poor in contact with me ( he called me back almost immediately) and he came NEXT DAY to give me a quote. His professionalism and his friendly personality convinced me even before I had gotten a quote. The quote was very fair and BEST OF ALL...........everyting he said would happen..........happened WHEN he said it would. Ever sat at home all day waiting on someone to deliver the services or product you bought earlier? Well you will not wait with Waychoff. They give you a TIME and they are there when they say they will be. The installers were friendly and very professional and I am highly pleased with the product. The Lesters March 27, 2012: Our initial experience with WAYCHOFFs was approximately 2 years ago. Our builder installed AC stopped cooling the house. We researched several AC companies and found WAYCHOFFs to have the best service call price. This occurred on a Saturday late afternoon. They were prompt, efficient and provided excellect repair, service and advice. Fast forward to February 24, 2012. Our AC starting leaking so again we called WAYCHOFFs. Rick Waychoff came out that day and inspected our unit. He had two options to offer us. One to repair the current unit, the other to install an new AC. He advised us that repairing the old AC would not be cost effective. He recommended we get a new unit. During that visit, he informed us of the JEA Shop Smart program and worked with us to get everything in place for the 0% financing offer. As a result of the required energy audit we had several other energy saving improvements made to our home. Rick was far more knowledgeable about the Shop Smart program than any of the other companies with whom we worked. The installation of our new AC unit was very smooth. The technicians were very clean and courteous! Rick Waychoff paid a visit during installation to check on the work. The new system is wonderful and we would recommend Waychoffs to everyone!

We had Waycoff AC install a new air compressor and handler to replace some very old equipment. They were the third company we had come out and give an estimate and blew away their competition with getting to know and understand not only the replacement units but also the air flow of our house. I was able to verify every recommendation they had as being accurate and they came prepared, already knowing the approximate size unit we would need (the other companies just went based on the current size which was too small). I had already done my research and knew we needed a larger unit so it was refreshing that they also knew that upfront. We also have an addition that gets very hot during the summer and during the initial meeting they determined an air return would help the airflow and thus reduce the heat in that room. All of the work was done professionally and the workers were very good about cleaning up after they were done. Even after the project was completed (which only took a day) Waycoff came back out to put a leaf guard over the outside unit to help block out the leaves. They did this at no cost and even suggested it themselves. They seem to truly care about the customer, the experience and to have all of the equipment working optimally. I would highly recommend Waycoff AC.

I had a technician come to my home to perform a semiannual tune up on my A/C system. There were no mechanical or electrical problems prior to the tech arriving. The technician explained the service contract agreement after he had finished the tune up and I agreed to sign up for that. I then asked if he could perform all tasks involved with the maintenance agreement which should have included cleaning the unit of inside and outside. I believed that he had done that and then he left upon completing that task. Approximately 3 hours later the house was very hot on the inside and I had to call to request another technician to come out to look at the system. The service technician named Eric arrived and ass would have been done earlier and I explained what had happened earlier and he looked at the system and found all the maintenance tasks were not completed properly and was able to get the system running correctly again. I was very unhappy when I first made the phone call when the system was broken. However your technician Eric was very customer oriented and fixed all the problems very efficiently. I was very happy with the service he provided and will ask for him by name for all future services that I received from Waychoff.

we had a issue with our company ac unit which also links our office and company apartment together. We called in another company first. he spend hours working on the system and cam back with it needed a mother board and could not get the part in until the next day. Well this is Florida and HOT!!! we went all night with ac. I called Waychoffs and they sent Jason. He was great. Honest which is unheard of in that business. and very professional. He thoroughly checked out our system and found out the previous companies tech, had wired a blown transformer wrong and that was the cause of the issue. Not a 400$ mother board. He had us up and running within a hour. Being a self storage manager for over 10 yrs i can tell you there are alot of crooks out there looking to pad there billing. Be careful on who you call. I have recommended on no small part to Jason that Waychoffs be our HC/AC techs for all of out properties. Well Done Jason!!!!! Thank you for being honest and having our system up and running so quickly!!!

My old unit went out on a Saturday. I called around to a couple of places, including Waychoff which I had used for service in the past. They had a service man out in an hour or so and when it determined the unit was terminal, a representative was there and we reached agreement on a new unit to be installed the next day. Wachoff was late due to unexpected issues at a call earlier than mine However once the crew arrived they told me another crew was on the way Bottom line by Sunday evening with two crews working, I had a total new inside and outside unit up and running and cooling down. No change in price due to them using an extra crew. Once they left, there was absolutely no evidence they had even been there. All the old unit, packaging of new unit, everything was carried away, unlike a previous installation by a cheaper company Their installation follow-up was professional and on time I would recommend them for any new installation or service on existing installations

Had Tracy come out on a Friday for a consult on a new system. This guy is phenomenal, walked through the house, inspected the system and gave us a great price on a 3.5 ton complete system. Nobody could beat the price. Always friendly and highly professional. The installation team was there on time that Monday. They were very professional, friendly and answered all my questions, even the silly ones. They put down tarps for any dirt and when they were done everything was left clean and closed up. They walked us through the new system from the thermostat to the outside unit. And four days after the install was done, Tracy came back by and did a inspection and gave us a file with our system information, receipts and contract. We are very satisfied with the entire experience and will recommend Waychoff to all our friends and family. These guys are devoted to the customer and highly dedicated to their craftsmanship and work standards.

Good morning Rick, I have been a customer of yours for nearly twenty years. Your employees continue to impress me with their professionalism, and personally taking the time to explain what is wrong with my unit. Today I would like to personally commend technicians Max and Steve. Also, Adrienne who understood and showed empathy towards my wife who is in poor health and needed our A/C repaired promptly. Max and Steve were quick to respond, offered suggestions such as surge protectors, coil cleaning, and maintenance tips. Max also suggested an air purifier which we intend on buying in the future as our budget allows. The main point that I want to convey to you today is their customer service reflects highly on you and your company. I always recommend Waychoffs to all my friends. Purchased a new built home in the Nocatee area. After the first summer we knew something was wrong with our air conditioning system. The builder stated the 3 ton system was enough for that size home. Since I never believe builders I called 3 independent air conditioning companies for their opinion. All companies agreed that the 3 ton system was being taxed if weather was very hot. I decided then to use Waychoff. Tracy was exceptional. He explained everything in detail and made sure that the new system would perform as promised. The installers were polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I have now had my new system for 4 months and I could not be happier. By the way, during the new install Waychoff found that my ducts had been laid incorrectly causing even more air restriction. Be wary of new home builders in the Nocatee area.
