I was injured two years ago in an accident that in no way was my fault. I was taken to the ER and immediately told I would need surgery. I didn’t have health insurance at the time and was worried about how I was going to pay for all of these unexpected medical expenses. During my hospitalization my husband contacted the Joye Law Firm. One of the best decisions we ever made! From the very start the truck company, driver, and insurance company involved claimed that even though a part of their vehicle had fallen off and hit me, it was not their fault. They denied any wrong doing and did not feel that they should be in any way responsible for me or my medical costs. It was a fight right from the beginning and not something myself, nor my husband, would have been able to handle on our own. We were faced with every hurdle you could possibly imagine: evidence getting thrown away, records and logs not being made available, doctors stating I was fine despite still suffering a broken bone that nobody thought needed to fixed. Seriously, you name it and it was an issue for us. The Joye Law Firm was there with us every single step of the way! They constantly were looking and fighting for what was in my best interest. Without their help my medical bills would have not been covered and I would be in serious financial distress, I would still be in need of a second surgery (in pain everyday as a result), and a host of issues I’d still be facing; in other words, I’d be in a completely different situation then I am in right now. I know for a fact that it was only with the help of Mr. Joye and his law firm that I was able to get the second surgery I needed, my medical bills got covered, and my case was handled in the manner it should have been. This was definitely not something we could have done on our own and are so thankful we choice Joye to represent us.

I was privileged to work with Mr. Pat Jennings and Mrs. Marcy Huckabee on my case that lasted over 2 years. Pat Jennings is a man of integrity and very experienced in the field of law. Pat fought tooth and nail everyday to make my case go as smooth as possible and any questions I had was either answered by his exceptionally smart and sweet para legal Mrs. Marcy Huckabee or Pat Jennings himself. Mrs. Marcy hands down was GOD sent on my case. She wears many hats, not only is she an awesome para legal she is also a person who I could talk to when I felt overwhelmed with the case. When the insurance company would not approve certain things she was on top of it to get it approved. She also kept me abreast of everything I needed to know either good or bad. I was hit from behind at a dead stop, my poor car was totaled! I had intense headaches and could barely stand without having to lean on the wall. The insurance was very pushy and wanted to settle the day after with a check for less than 500$. Someone suggested Joye Law Firm but I was scared about going to a lawyer; I thought they would be pushy, over charge and not care about me. However, in fact, it was the opposite!! They were very sweet and listened carefully to everything I had to say! They even recommended a doctor that was fantastic! Jeff Gerardi and his team called to check on me and to tell me what was going on with my case. He didn’t even get bothered with us calling him! When finalizing the settlement he seemed more concerned with making sure I was OK than getting “his” money.
