Total wast of time and money. I would NOT recommend using this firm. Do not make the same mistake we did. Looking into filing a formal complaint with the Texas Bar and BBB amongst others. Zero communication from either "Chip" or Mary regarding the status on our case. Whenever we would call to get updates, we always got the same response, "Mr. Pelley is in court, ill call you back" and they never did. Finally, my husband wrote a long drawn out letter explaining WE are the customer and would like a little more consideration. Mind you, we hired them in February, with the expectation of at least an email once and a while. Well, the firm sent us a letter stating they would no longer represent us, (because of the letter we sent them) and that they would not be harassed. Funny how they NEVER replied to any emails or phone calls, except for this one, to state they did not appreciate being harassed. Really!? Asking for updates on a case that they did ZERO work on, and that we paid $3500 for. Harassment. More like we were robbed of time, money and possibly a fair settlement in court due to their lack of communication and their blatant disregard for their customers. I guess you get what you pay for as they say. If we could give zero stars, we would. DO NOT hire this firm. They will drop the ball at every turn.

Last summer I was represented by the Pelley Law Firm in a fairly heated divorce case. I would recommend this firm to anyone that needs good quality and professional legal representation. There is a difference between an experienced law firm and an experienced law firm that is also well-seasoned. Chip Pelley is not only experienced but well-seasoned too and it was the little things he did in a hearing or during arbitration that made huge differences in how things turned out in the end. His paralegal Mary Jones kept me fully informed and up to date on how the case was progressing and was always just a phone call or an email away. Between both Chip and Mary, I was always extremely confident throughout the whole process and never felt intimidated by the other side not one time. The billing of services was more than fair and Chip and Mary work diligently to minimize the cost of the lawsuit. I was very happy with the outcome of my divorce and hold no regrets about any of the decisions that were made throughout the process. This is an excellent law firm and I will certainly use this firm again in the future for any legal needs that may arise.
