I took my 2006 Pontiac Wave (Ya, a Canadian vehicle made in Korea for GM) with a broken thermostat housing (plastic part from factory install) on Sunday, Oct 12th. Service tech called me Monday, first quoted $750.00, which he said included the housing (to be replaced with an aluminum GM part), a coolant flush, replacement of upper and lower hoses. When I told him that was outrageous, he said that he could bring it down to $359.00 (including tax), which I still believed was a "HOSE" job! When I picked up the vehicle, the breakdown of the invoice showed a charge of $143.00 for the thermostat housing, and 1.3 hrs of labor to install. I searched the genuine GM part on line (Rock Auto) and found it at $47.79, which represents a 300% markup. Because the part is very visible from the front of the motor and easily accessible, it could not have taken the mechanic more than 15 minutes to replace this part. I told them (Tim Hansen) at the service counter that I felt like I had been "ripped off", and his comments were nothing but argumentative. He did not make any concession to me at all!!!! I relied on the fact that the tow truck driver told me that this was a Triple A-owned shop, and therefore was NOT like taking my vehicle to a non-reputable shop. But in fact, this is exactly what happened - I allowed my vehicle to be towed to a non-reputable business, and feel like I was "ripped off". I had originally instructed the tow driver to tow it to my house in Avondale - oh how I wished I had listened to my son. We could have fixed the problem for about a $100.00. Live and learn - what appears on the surface sometimes is rotten in the center!!

This is the first time I have ever gone to an AAA repair shop. I am new to AZ so I had no idea where to go for car maintained beside the dealership. : ( When I read my HIGHROADS magazine there was a coupon for the “Triple Play”. So I went on line and made an appointment for today and within about an hour, I received a call and set the time for today. Yea! As I came into the office, I was amazed how clean it was. Devin was the first person to assistant me. They took my car into the shop and I went to the lobby area. There was a video to watch your car being worked on. That was so cool. My car was ready in about 45 mins. Devin made me aware of some small issues that need to be taken care of in the near future. Ok, will make another appointment to have that taken care of. What I liked about my visit - Meeting Devin, he was friendly and polite, wasn’t pushing me for sales like some other places; the lobby was cleaned and I was visited by an employee to asked if there was anything I needed, and one more thing - I didn’t feel like I was at a dealership being pressure with sales gimmicks or some dirty smelly old garage. I had a good experience and will come back again, now that I know who to go to. : )

ZERO STARS IS TOO HIGH A RATING!! I dropped off my car for a front end alignment because it was pulling. The adviser called me and said that my tires were cupped, and that they were “cracked” and “rotten” (bold-faced lies). Also, my front struts “appeared” to be original, (they had been replaced about 8,000 miles ago). They recommended that I buy new tires and struts (obviously from them) before they “attempted” to align it. I told them I was coming to pick the car up. When I got there my service advisor, was sitting behind the counter with a headset on. He curtly told me that he was helping a customer, obviously on the phone. I sat down while he dialed another customer, and then another. As I finally got billed out, by another adviser, my advisor took the time to lean over and curtly tell me that I had low tires, and they had aired them up. The charge was $48 for essentially putting air in my tires. Later that same day, a alignment shop verified that no alignment was needed. There are a few honest shops around. AAA Peoria is not one of them! A rude ripoff!

I NEEDED MY AUTO REPAIRED. I HAD MY CAR SAFETY INSPECTED AT AAA A FEW DAYS BEFORE AND THE MECHANIC FOUND THE DRIVERS SIDE CV JOINT BOOT TORN AND POSSIBLE JOINT DAMAGE. I WAS NOT PREPARED TO HAVE THE WORK DONE AT THAT TIME. LATER, I TOOK MY CAR TO THE AUTO DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY DID NOT HAVE TIME TO LOOK AT MY CAR THAT DAY AND I SHOULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT WEEK. I CALLED RAY AT THE AAA SHOP FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE DRIVERS SIDE AXLE,BOOTS & JOINTS ASSEMBLY REPLACED AND WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT MORNING, WHICH WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. I TOOK MY CAR IN AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME AND IT WAS IN THE SHOP WITHIN MINUTES. I HAD COME EXPECTING TO WAIT A HALF DAY OR MORE FOR THE REPAIRS TO BE DONE. RAY CAME TO ME AFTER ABOUT TWO HOURS AND TOLD ME THE REPAIRS HAD BEEN MADE AND MY CAR WAS READY TO GO. I HAVE WAITED LONGER FOR AN OIL CHANGE AT OTHER SHOPS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM EVERYONE I CAME IN CONTACT WITH WHILE AT THE AAA PEORIA OFFICE. THANK YOU

I first went in for a break inspection and general inspection for my 2003 Suburban. ( I had been told about a year ago I needed over $1000.00 of work by Fletchers near our house, but I never got it done because when I checked them, my shocks were not leaking as they said they were). The breaks were fine, and they gave me the entire service, usually $49.00 free! The inspection was reviewed by the service manager, Ron, with me and he told me just what needed to be done, and the things that could be watched. I had the break fluid flushed out as recommended at an appointed time yesterday, and even though I was delayed about 15 minutes, no sweat.. I trust these guys and plan to get regular service there for both of my cars.

Kate was very helpful in booking our trip to Europe. She covered every area: transportation, currency, hotel, food, clothing, excursions, etc. She researched questions that we had, contacted the tour representative, gave options on excursions, and much more. She spent time setting up a river cruise, and then we cancelled it, she was very patient to set us up with a bus tour. She was friendly, asked questions to make sure that we had the things that we wanted in our travel plans. She was very knowledgable about the choices. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a vacation.

As I came into the office, Devin was the person to assistant me. They took my car into the shop and I went to the lobby area. There was a video to watch your car being worked on. That was so cool. My car was ready in about 70 mins. Devin made me aware of some issues that need to be taken care of in the future. What I liked about my visit - Meeting Devin, he was friendly and polite, the lobby was cleaned and cofee was free.

I had to have my cars engine replaced because of hydrolock. I was told that my car would be ready by the end of the week and it was. The person that helped me was extremely friendly and told me everything that was done and what was needed. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to a AAA Repair facility for repairs and vehicle maintenance.

I was a walk-in customer needing an Internaitional Drivers license. I was surprised to see the process stream lined from last year and before. I was taken care of at the counter and out the door in 10 minutes or less. Fantastic service and the CS agent was very courteous and professional. Gotta love AAA.

First time I booked a vacation with AAA travel. Went in to office and picked up my Disneyland vacation package and it was a great experience. The package was complete and the staff answered my questions politely and swiftly. I will definitely consider AAA travel and the Peoria office in the future.

Asked them to repair my air conditioning. $1,300.00 they gave my car back to me with the same problem. Took it back and they said another thing was wrong, charged me almost $400 more. Air conditioning now works ok, not good. Unhappy. Dissatisfied. Feeling used. Cannot recommend.

Had a coupon for oil change $14.95 , they charge $9.90 for disposal fee 1 the last time I went there it was $2.50 what gives ? Total out the door $31.47 My last oil change there with a coupon for $19.95 ,out the door was $29.95 !! Bait and switch !

Had them come out and replace my cracked windshield a couple of weeks ago. Not only did they replace my windshield, but also fixed the outside molding and rear view mirror that was not properly reinstalled when the windshield was replaced last time.
