What a great experience from start to finish with these guys. A stainless steel hot water line leaving the water heater burst under pressure on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend when no one was home, we get home on Memorial Day to find 100+ gallons still spewing in the bedroom. I made an emergency call to First Atlantic at 6:00pm on Memorial Day, and their Emergency crews were there BY 7:00pm ON MEMORIAL DAY...which is incredible. The emergency water technicians were fantastic, explaining the areas they were going to demo or try to dry out, and kept me posted thru the entire process. Then I also chose to use First Atlantic for the repair process, since they had done so well during the emergency drying process. Project Manager Rocky Tennant was great to deal with, always called me right back, helped navigate the insurance process, and he really focused on an aggressive re-build schedule that had everyone back in the house in ONLY 1-WEEK FROM WHEN THE REPAIRS STARTED. That is unheard of in the contractor world, start to finish within a week... even with multiple trades of drywall, paint, trim, and flooring. Kudos to Rocky and his contractor Mario for keeping their word and making this house livable in only a week. They said they could make it happen (which I questioned), and then made it happen. Great job guys, we have a happy family at the house.

I had a large tree fall on my house about a year ago and First Atlantic coordinated the work. In my opinion, this company falls short and borders a lack of ethics. They did send people and contractors to do the work. However, I have spent the last six months having someone come back out and repair what they did not do right the first time. I wanted to do some of the work on my own and they still kept 20% of the insurance money for doing absolutely nothing for that task to complete the work at my home. When i inquired, the answer I got was the money has to be allocated to different items. I would never use this company again. if you do use them, please beware and make sure you have the work they have done checked, because if it is the same as my case, you will have to have it fixed again. I contacted them and spoke to their vice president about my concerns. They left trash and other items in my back yard and never came back and picked them up. I could go on with many more examples of issues I had. However, I have never had one follow up phone call or any follow up for that matter after the work was completed. Everything they did at my home appears now they took a shortcut. Ironically, I read that the owner is a representative of the Better Business Bureau. Maybe their will be some better to service to future customers after he reads my complaint.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend! We needed an estimate on our home for a FEMA appeal after our home was flooded by Hurricane Matthew. Since it was an appeal, we had a 14 day time frame to submit the estimate from a contractor or we would automatically be denied any assistance. Originally we had called Servpro and although they had sent out someone to do all the measurements, they gave us the run around and never gave us the estimate we were originally promised. Luckily for us, we found First Atlantic Restoration and although we were down to the last day before our estimate was due, they bent over backwards to help us out. Both Amber in the office and Troy who performed our estimate were the gold standard of what customer service should be! We are extremely grateful that this wonderful company was willing to clean up someone else’s mess as without their help we would have been stranded and been automatically denied help without a further glance. Thank you so much—the best customer service we have ever seen! So grateful that great companies do still exist.

We had a barn fire that literally melted the back of our house, requiring new siding, new windows, new roof and deck repairs. First Atlantic handled everything, including working with the insurance adjuster to add items were damaged as a result of the fire that were not spotted the first time he came out to the house. Chad did a great job communicating with us throughout the entire process. Troy and his team did a nice job with the siding and windows and made sure that we were happy with their work before they left. When the siding guys had two nails that cracked the shower tiles in our recessed niches (no way they could have known the niches were so close to the exterior of the house), Chad send Michael Pitt out to fix the minor damage right away Michael did an amazing job and you would never know that anything had happened. I would definitely recommend First Atlantic. due to how they work with the insurance company, their excellent communication, and how they stand behind their work.

Our world was turned upside down when lightening struck our house at 20 minutes after midnight on Fathers Day morning. We did not know what to do and worst, where we need to start. The first contact with First Atlantic at 9 AM that morning took all the guess work out of what should be first and what order things needed to be done. By 10:30 AM there was a tarp on the roof and teams of support on our property. They not only suggested what should be done when but why and how it fits into a plan to get our home back in order. They documented what the moved, where it had been located in the house so when they finish cleaning it they will know where to place it back in the house when finished. They do everything in the rebuilding of the home and if you have anything like this happen to your home you need to call these people, they are awesome!!

My home recieved water damage due to a bad hot water heater. They were recommend from my insurance adjustor. I was not sure what I was going to get. I called and spoke with Billy. It was nice to hear a refreshing voice willing to assist. The insurance adjustor wanted to come out the same time First Atlantic did. Without hesitation Billy made that happen. He sent Shawn and Omy. FANTASTIC !! They reassured me they would handle everything. Very professional. Explained what they needed to do what were the next steps and that the comapny would make sure they are there to assist during the whole process. I will be referrign them to others. Word of mouth and social media is a Great thing. They deserve a KUDOS !!! Thank you First Atlantic

My husband and I moved into our house less than a year ago and had a small water leak that ended up creating even more problems than I would have ever imagined. I called First Atlantic and they got to my house asap and got everything set up to dry the floors out that night. They called me every few days to check on things and they worked around my schedule. All of the workers that were in and out were VERY nice and respectful. Despite the stress from the situation, First Atlantic was very helpful and understanding through everything!. I will always recommend them to friends, family, neighbors or whoever it may be. And if we ever have any furture issues they will be the first people I call.
