Three weeks ago during an annual insulation inspection it was discovered that I had significant water intrusion in my crawlspace and that all my ductwork had to be replaced. The replacement was very expensive and I wanted to make sure it never happened again. I found Bay Crawlspace Solutions while searching online for a company that specialized in drainage solutions. Their reviews were very positive. This is important to me because I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past. Brianna at Bay Crawlspace Solutions responded to me immediately and quickly had a representative on site to provide a solution. The representative discussed options and proposed a French drain system with pumps that activate when any water accumulates. They also recommended treatment of mold/mildew that had accumulated which was very important because everyone in my family has allergies. The estimate seemed fair for amount of work that needed to be done. Brianna had me scheduled right away for the installation. The project foreman was outstanding and kept me informed of every step throughout the two day project. All the guys on the installation team were extremely professional and courteous. I was provided a detailed explanation of all work that was done to include pictures which was nice since I can’t get under the house to see for myself. The office followed up after the project to make sure I was totally satisfied and gave me electronic copies of my documents for my records. I HIGHLY recommend Bay Crawlspace Solutions to anyone in this area who is concerned about drainage, water intrusion, storm damage, etc. I most definitely will keep their number handy in case I need them again.

I knew I had a problem with moisture in the crawlspace during the summer months ever since we added additions to the house. Something needed to be done. Hired Bay Crawlspace to encapsulate 2900 sq ft. I interviewed 4 different crawlspace companies. Bay came in the middle in regards to pricing. JES was ridiculously expensive. I liked what Blake at Bay had to say. No matter what, it is very expensive to have the crawlspace encapsulated, especially in an area that nobody is going to see. I could have done it for less than half the cost, but it would have probably taken me ever day for 3 months to do. It took 3 guys 5 days. It’s a crappy area to work in, dirty, cramped, etc. Although very expensive, I thought it was well worth the cost of getting it done. The crew did an excellent job cleaning out, laying the plastic, wrapping the piers, insulating the walls and installing the Dehumidifier. They also cleaned up after themselves when the job was complete. Now this encapsulation was done in January. So I have yet to see if this is actually going to eliminate the problem during the summer when the A/C is cranking since this is when the problems occurs. But, looking at what was done and the quality of work that was done in the crawlspace, I think it will work just fine. This is an update on 28 Aug 16. After a very hot summer and the A/C cranking for many days, we have not had any humidity issues in the crawlspace whatsoever! Thank you for a great job.

Bay Crawlspace did a great job on my crawlspace. We had a lot of moisture and needed to act. I received quotes from four companies, and Bay beat all of them (Bay beat two of them by thousands of dollars). Rather than trying to oversell me, Bay diagnosed my problem and sold me what I needed to fix it. As one who values efficiency and saving money, I very much appreciated this approach. Regarding the work product itself, Bay did a great job. I really appreciate the fact that Bay invited me to crawl under my house and review the finished job. They wanted to make sure I was happy with the job, and they did whatever I asked, including answering my questions and fixing any issues I saw. Almost two months later, my crawlspace is dry and I can sleep in peace. I certainly recommend using Bay Crawlspace.

We had eight different companies give estimates on the possible work required of our moisture issues in the crawlspace. Bay Crawlspace was the cheapest; two different companies quoted us $5,000. and $6,000. above what Blake quoted for a very similar product and warranty. We decided to go with Bay because of the honest customer service and price. Not to mention, when we signed the contract Bay Crawlspace was out to the house to conduct the work within two weeks. Other companies required a 50% downpayment for work that would be completed months out. Bay Crawlspace completed the work within a week and had us review their work before they departed. Our neighbors were also impressed with the work and I would highly recommend them over local companies.

Bay Crawlspace Solutions did a great job in installing a sump pump system into our encapsulated crawlspace which had been getting flooded in each heavy rain storm. Seth and Art were extremely professional and interacted with us often as the work progressed. They removed damaged ducting, pulled back the vapor barrier, installed a french drain system that flows water to the sump pump well where it is pumped out through the discharge line that they installed through the foundation and away from the house. A lot of attention to detail as well as very clean and conscientious in that they did. They also captured before and after photos of the work areas as well - a very nice added touch. I would highly recommend them for sump pump installations.

They also provided me a better quality product and price. Office manager Brianna was very pleasant when scheduling and she accommodated my busy schedule. Bay Crawlspace company came in September 2016 after I had water and mold issues, as well as sagging floors from the humid summer. They removed old moldy insulation, installed floor jacks, and completely encapsulated my crawlspace+installed dehumifier. It is now February and it is below 30 Degrees outside, and my crawlspace is maintaining 63 Degrees and approximately 40% humidity. Immediately after encapsulation my heating/cooling bills dropped almost 20%. Definitely worth the cost, and would recommend Bay to anyone experiencing structural issues or looking to improve HVAC efficiency.

Got half a dozen estimates from other companies before going with Bay Crawl, and am glad I did. I have been impressed with their customer service and thoroughness from the beginning. My issues so far are a smell coming from the crawl that has encompassed the downstairs, and a slightly misaligned crawl door that is leaking a little air. Not only was their price better than the other quotes I got, their service was outstanding. There was an issue with my original vent covers not fitting back in once the work was done, but since I really liked the appearance of them better than the new ones, they went out of their way to take them to their office, figure out how to cut them to size, and come back a second time to reinstall them. The dehumidifier they installed is working great!

Our crawl space was wet and the duct work was dripping this summer so we had these guys give us an estimate. We decided to go with the encapsulated system. It looks like a great job. It is clean and the humidifier is drying the space out. The crew worked fast and efficient. They finished in a few days and kept us updated and showed us pictures when they finished. Bay Crawlspace Solutions came out to fix an inadequate vapor barrier and a flooding issue in the crawlspace of the 60 year old house we bought in March 2016, installing a French drain, sump pump, dehumidifier and new liner.
