I had the pleasure of having Zach Dumais come out to my home today to do a pest retreatment. Zach has always been friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He is an excellent company representative. I appreciate that he told me ahead of time that he will not be doing my treatment going forward because he is needed in another position. He made sure I knew the next technician and was comfortable with the change. As a customer, this is very important to me. I had just had a bad experience with another technician and this gave me the level of comfort I needed to renew my contract with Universal. I would also like to state that there is a new woman in customer service that also has made a good impression on me. I think her name is Melissa but I am not positive. She said she has only been at the company for a couple of weeks. She was also very friendly and professional. She handled my inquiries very well and was willing to get the answers to the questions she could not answer.

I have loved using Universal. I am a first time home buyer, and they really helped me feel more comfortable with the process. They took pictures of what needed to be done, they took the time out to do a full inspection, and now they are scheduled to treat under my home, do repairs, insulate my attic, and do my pest control. With everything else going on with home buying, they really helped by offering affordable rates, and financing options with $0 down and 0% in interest without running my credit! Everyone is so nice and easy to talk to. I got my appointments the exact day I wanted them.

Used their website for pricing and booking appointment. Was never contacted, tech showed up 4 hours after my requested appointment time and I was charged $40 more than the quoted price--and that was after she had to bring it down an additional $125 because she was told, incorrectly, that I was wanting to sign up for quarterly treatments! The technician was great & I appreciate that they use green products but I was very disappointed in how my appointment was handled.

I was having a rat problem after the city tore up the street. they were inside my crawl space and I would see them running around on my deck at night. Universal showed up, pulled out all the nasty plastic, replaced and sanitized the crawl space. They put on a new crawl space door and set out bait boxes. The problem is now under control thanks to the guys doing the dirty work.

The first visit they determined my needs and explained my options. The rodents I attracted feeding the squirrels are gone and there are no bugs in the house. I have been with them for about three years and Kelly has been here 4 or 5 time and done a very good job. I have only had to call them back one time for re-spraying. I have one year contract for pest control with them this year, their quarterly service is pretty good and the price is reasonable. Plus, whenever you need a new trap for a replacement or more sprays for insects, they will come and take care of it with no extra charge. And Sam did a great job for the quarterly service.
