Mike and his team did a solid job for us. The previous owners had punted on installing the correct solution and lied about water entering the home. When we found ¼ inch of water in our back room basement we called GMBS out and they were there within hours to do an estimate. This was one of the rainiest summers in recent memory and GMBS had a ton of business so we had to wait, but it was worth the wait. They finished the job in under 3 days and the work looks great. They installed a brand new sump pump, the old one the previous owners had installed was done poorly, was inefficient to the task and sounded like a jet engine. They installed a sub floor perimeter drainage system and vapor sealed our walls. They were quick, professional, courteous and were easy to work with. We paid up front and part of the job was over estimated and they got a refund to us when we needed it. I have more work I need done in the future and I plan on using Mike and his team.

What a positive experience! We had a severe water flooding problem that we never thought could be resolved. Green Mountain Basement Solutions not only solved our flooding but assisted us to finish our basement! Mike and David were honest and did exactly what they said they would do. We now have the nicest finished basement that we never thought was an option! The dehumidifier keeps the basement so dry we honestly do not feel like we are in a basement. We recommend Mike and his team 100%. They started on a Monday and by Thursday we were completed.and DONE with ever having to vacuum up water ever again. What a wonderful feeling.They connected us with a flooring contractor that installed a Tyroc sub-floor and we had wall to wall carpeting installed. The floor is warm and dry. If you need to have your basement waterproofed call the professionals at Green Mountain Basement Solutions as we are elated at how we now have a dry usable finished basement!

After losing my husband in 2015 everything around the house became a challenge. We had a very bad water problem in our basement. I reached out to a lot of companys but no one seemed to specialize in just that. And the ones that did from southern vermont just seemed outdated. I called green mountain after hearing about them on the radio.The whole process went so smooth. They were modern,efficient and even though they were very busy they kept the line of communication open and managed to find a way to schedule me in. My basement has been perfectly dry and i am a very happy customer. I have since recommended this company to family and friends. Thank you Green Mountain!

While we knew they were very busy this year, they took the time to explain everything to us. They were incredible! They worked extremely hard on the foundation and finished the project perfectly. Because of the scope of the work we knew that we would have some tire markings on our grass.....We knew that there would be a bush or two that they could not save. I think Dave said it best "we cannot move 4 tons of concrete out of the basement and 4 tons back into the basement without any evidence that we have been there" To summarize....The work we paid them to do was fantastic....They worked everyday until it was completed. We would hire them again without hesitation!

Hired Green Mountain Basement Solutions to look at a house I hoped to buy. After being an hour late, Mike walked around and talked a good game. Told me he would meet with his team in the morning and put together a proposal and email it to me by the afternoon. Clearly Mikes team is him and a 12 pack of Budweiser. He cashed the check and haven’t heard from him since. This was 2 weeks ago. Read his yelp reviews. Shame on me for hiring this clown. Might as well have burnt the cash and punched myself in the face. Would have been easier.

Absolutely terrible company to work with, too full payment and never finished the job. The owner, Mike Sears, would not return calls or emails. Please be warned that they will take advantage of you, over charge and do sloppy work.
