This is a Christmas Eve Story of Excellence. I just moved to NC two weeks ago and being new to the area I knew few people. It was 3pm Christmas Eve Day when my car started running very rough. I called several repair places but they all closed early. At 3:30 I talked to a person at a station and he directed me to AAA service. I drove over and arrived at 3:45 and they also were closing in 15 min. The shop was completely empty of any other customers. I drove in and they said they would have a look but if it was major, they at a minimum would give me a lift home which was 20 minutes away. They opened the hood, and expertly identified the problem as a bad coil which stopped two cylinders from working. They verified this by switching coils and said that they would have to order the part but that would take a few days but they would check a few other places and found one within a 5 min drive and said it was on the way. It was now 4:00. It arrived at 4:05 and they installed it by 4:15, and took it for a test drive. The mechanic returned at4:20 and all was well. They charged a very reasonable charge which I was very happy to pay. In 35 minutes from driving in. I was on my way. What a Christmas Eve Gift AAA provided. Special thanks to David the Mechanic and Tom DeFeo the Manager and Jame Bush the Service Consultant. Even on Christmas Eve, they were willing to stay and get me back on the road. Six Stars

I will say the service people are very nice. However, I went in recently and needed extensive work (radiator cracked). Now I have been going to AAA Car Services for years, but when they came back with $1K for a radiator, I decided to do some checking, and found prices 30% to 50% cheaper. Next I called on the parts to see what they cost and found out they were adding $100 to the cost from Napa. After paying my $100 diag fee, I am done with AAA. This is not what I consider fair markup, nor a fair hourly rate of $100 for technicians. I will be taking my business else where I am sure I am no major loss, but this was insulting to say the least.

We were passing through Huntersville,N.C.heading up north, when we lost our brakes & fluid, as it was a sunday night we decided to wait till monday morning to call AAA....They told us a tow truck would be there within the hour, not 10 minutes later our car was being towed to the AAA Service Center, Three hours later we were on the road again, the service was excellent, Service Manager Tom kept us posted on every detail as Jesse, auto tech, replace a brake line & got us on our way, ....So thank you AAA Service Center, We were very happy..... Our van needed to be towed and repaired on June 16th. Car Care Manager Sean Eubanks went "above and beyond" to get us back on the road to Ohio! He provided their shuttle van to pick up the family from our location on I-77 and even had the fantastic shuttle driver Sharon drop us off a local restaurant. When we got back from lunch, the van was ready to go. May family cannot give enough praise to Sean, Sharon and the staff of the Huntersville AAA Car Care Center for being so customer-centered!

The guys down at AAA in Huntersville really did a great job. Tom, one of the service managers, got me the best price and I was in and out in no time at all. Ross, their insurance consultant, helped me with policy questions and was clear and informative. Local folks who you can trust. Way to go guys.

Amazing service by a technician named Kevin, he made sure I was comfortable and changed the TV station for me. I never felt forced to upgrade oil and everything was carefully explained. When my car needs it I will definitely get another oil change and inspection here!

Went in for oil change and fluid check by appointment. They handled me quickly and were friendly. They also recommended a power steering fluid flush and were able to handle that also. I will likely return, my AAA discount helped!

Overall it was a good experience. I was a little disappointed not to hear about the need for a break flush till I brought the car in for the actual service. Other than that I believe a good job was done with premium parts.
