American Financial Network (AFN), George Raymondo (Loan Officer), and AFN staff members have successfully executed a total of five home loan transactions (three purchases and two refi home loans from the past two years to the present; combinations of VA, FHA, and conventional home loans) for my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law, and my family. All these transactions were closed in a timely manner that is above and beyond our expectation. The entire AFN staff members work as a team professionally and efficiently. Every individual in their respective department knows exactly their roles and responsibilities throughout the mortgage loan process. As a direct result, the product delivered in a timely manner. I have not met George in person nor any of the AFN staff members with the exception of notary public from AFN escrow department; means of communication is through phone calls, fax, and emails which resulted in a fast and effective manner. It is a huge blessing to come across with wonderful people like George and AFN professional staff members. There is no word to describe how happy we are. Even though it was a re-finance, we still had a lot of questions and he patiently worked with us relative to all of our concerns. Great communication throughout the transaction. Some glitches with verifying and re-verifying loans, payments, and other information. Data security appears to be average to poor - with transfer of files often in unsecured emails rather than via a secure server or dropbox. Overall, a less than perfect performance by AFN, but the transaction, the rate locking, funding, closing and transfer of funds went flawlessly.
