I was supposed to close tomorrow, the seller was contingent on our purchase, & their seller contingent on that purchase. Needless to say we started the domino effect of many families getting into their dream home. All because 1 under writer (Karen Leader) can not read a pay stub the whole situation has been turned upside down & now no one is closing! as my husbands electrical company works nothing but prevailing wage/Davis bacon jobs but dumb Karen Leader could no understand this process it through her small brain! Our broker said he has brought more than 100+ loans to stearns lending & will not be using them any more due to 1 person Karen Leader! So because 1 person can not read a pay stub & could not calculate pay correctly 3 people did not get their home! I hate stearns leading run from them if you are a prevailing wage employee as they will not accept your pay!

If i could give this company negative stars , i totally would. Ive been trying to get an escrow reimbursement cheque issue resolved for over a month now and everytime I call them, they give me a different answer. The names on the cheque were not correct the first time. So i called them about that. They cancelled the old cheque and reissued it with just my middle name and the banks wont let me deposit it. Ive been going back and forth with this company and the reps are so incompetent its just useless. Its almost as if they dont want you to be able to deposit the cheque so they can pocket the money. Thieves would be a good word to describe this company. If you can avoid using them, please do.

Virgina is truly amazing at her job! She goes above and beyond to satisfy her clients. We went with Stearns when we bought our 2nd home in 2012. After selling that home and purchasing a new build we had an unpleasant closing experience with that lender. Stearns was our first choice to refinance along with our current bank. We liked the convenience of our bank but as always Virginia and the Stearns team went above and beyond to put our wants first! We got our rate and payment we wanted even when the previous lender and our bank said it was impossible! We will never go to another lending company in the future!

Kelli was helpful and easy when I refinanced my loan. Provided information when asked. Everything went well. I did have a couple emails that went unanswered but I was still able to get in contact with my loan officer Canon who was able to answer and assist. Did take quite some time to get paperwork finished in a timely manner. The notary was waiting for my documents for hours and we had to push back closing about 2 weeks due to paperwork not coming on time then I went out of town. Besides a few hiccups everything went well and everyone was nice. Thanks for you help.

I have had my mortgage with this company for 2 months. I have tried to access their website from several different computers and it never works. I am forced to make my payment over the phone for which they charge five extra dollars. I have also tried their mobile app and when I called customer service for assistance the representative claimed they did not have a mobile app. I am a very unhappy and confused customer.

I would give them zero if it was an option. Be warned do not become their customer. It will be a terrible mistake! They have been nothing but difficult to work with. They lie, they are unethical and do not care about their customers. I would never use them or be their customer again. Terrible at claims and terrible at customer service. Run! Run away from this company!
