Went into this office to drop off a pre-paid package on a Friday evening before closing. It was important that I brought my package to the store this day as per the return policy of the item, in order to receive a free refund on the contents of the package. I am from Canada and made a special trip that evening to come to this store before closing time (which was very rushed) in order to get the package dropped off. It was about 6:45pm when I arrived (just on time) and a young fellow acknowledged I had a pre-paid package and said I was good to go. I realized after leaving he didn’t scan it in front of me or provide me with a receipt like I was given the last time, at a different UPS location, but I didn’t think I had any reason to assume this gentleman would not process what I gave him. I come to find out that my package was not processed in their systems until Monday morning, 3 days late now. I am very displeased. Regardless of my situation ( I now have $7.00 deducted from my return because it wasn’t done on time), based on the service industry that they are part of I would think that it should not have to be explained when you drop off a package to a shipping facility. It should go unsaid that you want your package processed in the system as soon as you drop it off (hence why other facilities have provided a receipt in the past).

I shipped my US online purchases to this store many times. I am not white but I never had a bad experience when I picked up my packages at UPS Lewiston. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The charges are very reasonable relative to the savings in shipping charges to Canada and taxes. It is located just 10 minutes from the border crossing. They started charging for recycling packing materials last year.

After hearing all the horror stories of people ordering stuff from the states and paying through the nose for duty we shipped our stuff there. Cost was reasonable and the package was waiting there for us. But the best part by far was the fact the border agents were having a work to rule and waived us through, this inspite of the fact we had a car load of shopping.

Store does not seem to keep regular hours. Maybe because it is a small town? I use it as a border crossing pick up point, so drive from a good distance away. On 2 occasions it has been closed unexpectedly. I now feel the need to call and confirm the store will be open before i make the trip, unfortunately, the phone is rarely answered.

Great store and staff. Have been renting a mailbox with this location for almost 4 years now. Prices and policies are reasonable and service is fantastic. Whoever thinks the staff is racist, is way off the mark (and I would know), they are extremely friendly and helpful.

Some staff are racist and prejudice. Staff service level and friendliness are based on customers skin color. White customers are treated better than non-white.
