This is a real review and a real 5-star ranking. We were first time home buyers with very little knowledge on the process and Anthony Casa and Jacob Snow walked us through the whole system and provided automated checklists of what they needed, documents to provide, lawyers to call and what to expect. If you are a first timer or a experienced veteran home buyer I would recommend Garden State Home Loans. Highlights in order - 1) Best rates around with paying the lowest points - truly unmatched and we shopped 10 different mortgage brokers and lenders 2) Nothing was hidden or unexpected in closing - we knew every cost that was on our closing statement and on our closing day our lawyer mentioned that of the 5 closing statements they had that day, we had the best rate and best (least) closing charges 3) Ease of their online web portal for documentation requirements, document providing and messaging directly with the GSHL team 4) Closed in 45 days (or less) - Garden State told us after 3 weeks that we were ready to close 5) Customer service & Responsiveness of the GSHL team - We never waited longer than 30 minutes for an online message response and never had to wait when calling directly. So when you do a search on Bankrate or any other mortgage search I would advise you to put GSHL to the top of the list. It truly was easy and we had no issues throughout the process.

We recently purchased our home and Garden State loans were our lenders. I am very pleased and happy with their service. We shopped around different lenders and Garden State offered the best mortgage package. There was no hidden charges or complicated numbers to understand in their mortgage package. As easy as it can be. The process went very smooth and when I have any issues or concerns I reached out to Anthony Casa for help. I had to reach out to Anthony at some odd hours a few times and Anthony was always happy to help me even at those odd hours. We infact had all the approvals and commitments ready to close in less than 20 days. We did have a unique closing situation and the sellers made it a little difficult for us to close. Anthony and his team patiently worked through the process and were very knowledgeable of the situation and helped as along the way. In short, the experience was Fantastic ! Highly recommended !

The best lending experience any home owner/ borrower can ask for. Not only Anthony, the president of the company, provides the lowest interest rate but also provides a top notch customer service. Most importantly, Anthony can deliver what he promises in contrast with other big lenders who play a bait-and-switch game with borrowers. When I worked with Garden State home loans, I directly work with two people assigned to my case file. However, when I worked with a nationwide lending company, I had to communicate with at least five different people and each one of them only knew a small segment of my case file which could be very stressful and hard for borrowers to have effective communications. As a third time homeowner, It was definitely a much better lending experience when I directly worked with local lender like Garden State Home loans. When we started our home search, we called various different banks, brokers, credit unions to see who could offer us the best rate. GSL not only offered us THE best rate on the market, but also a smooth transaction and close. We’ve all heard the saying “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is”, not the case here. Anthony Casa and his team are fast but not at the cost of efficiency. We received our mortgage commitment within 2 weeks and closed within 5 weeks, insane! We even received a refund check in the mail they had promised, for a mix-up that happened at the very beginning. Honestly I can’t rave enough about them, they are simply THE broker of choice! We recently purchased a new home and chose GSHL for our mortgage. They offered the best rates we could find, by far, and the process for getting started was very easy. We worked with Susan Colella, who was always helpful to answer questions. Our only minor issue was that our own Real Estate Agent seemed never to be able to reach GSHL with her questions -- but going through us it would be fine. The online application process and the way GSHL has an online submission portal for answering mortgage conditions was great. It was easy, quick, and made sure we always knew the status of our loan. In the end I would highly recommend GSHL to friends & family if they are in the market for a loan.

I would highly recommend Garden State Home Loans for a mortgage, their service, responsiveness and attentiveness to my needs and concerns were unprecedented. I remember calling and regularly speaking with Anthony Casa late at night throughout the entire process, furthermore, I felt as though I was constantly kept in the loop regarding everything that was happening. Anthony was incredibly responsive and willing to help educate me and answer all of my questions. Overall, Garden State Home Loans had great rates, no fees and they closed my loan in less than 1 week. My biggest regret is that I did not work with Anthony and his team sooner.

Anthony Casa and his team at Garden State Home Loans provided a no nonsense straight forward product with the highest level of customer service and expertise. I shopped around and no other bank, lender or broker was able to even match the rate and terms Garden State provided. Most of the lenders told me to go with Garden State because they could not figure out how Anthony could provide that low of a rate and with favorable terms, but cautioned me to read the fine print for hidden or masked fees.
