Horrible experience with Jennifer in Auto loan department. Wanted 20% down on a $7000 loan. Provided $1400 weekly income verification with a 620 credit score and it was a process that was taking almost 4 weeks. After dealing with her impersonal unethical behavior we decided to cancel the loan application right before being approved because we had such a miserable experience through the application process we wanted nothing to do with that type of customer service if that was what to come over the life of the loan. Could never get a call back or an email returned. STAY AWAY FOR AUTO LOANS. They have a bunch of fake 5 star ratings too boost overall numbers. This place is terrible.

THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS PLACE ARE VERY UNEDUCATED ABOUT THEIR POSITIONS. I AM A DEALER IN SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN AND I WILL RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY GOES TO THIS CREDIT UNION ESPECIALLY FOR A CAR LOAN. THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CORRECTLY READ A VEHICLE TITLE OR UNDERSTAND ONE FOR THAT MATTER. THE SECRETARY OF STATE EVEN INFORMED ME THAT THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON WHEN IT COMES TO VEHICLE TITLES. THEY CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRIVATE OWNER OR A DEALER THEY HAVE A MANAGER RUNNING THE SHOW WHO SEEMS COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF WHAT A VEHICLE TITLE IS! PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE GOING TO THESE ATROCIOUS PEOPLE.

We have been members of Extra Credit Union for over twenty five years, and have witnessed her growth through her transition periods, from Warren Schools credit union to Metro Credit Union and currently Extra Credit Union. Our experience with a credit union is much more personable than a bank! We are proud to be not only a member, but treated like a family member. We love the customer service and individual attention each branch provides, but our quaint, intimate Sterling Heights office is superb!

I had a great experience at the credit union. I was looking to consolidate all my debt into one payment. All the other credit unions and Banks denied my request just making excuses to not help me. I applied at extra credit after hearing an ad on the radio. I was working with Amanda who is amazing and was able to eliminate all my debt and lower my payment into one. She is courteous and very rapid with responses. Will deal with them again.

I love Extra Credit Union. They are the best and treat you like Family. I would NEVER go to another Credit Union or bank. Summer Lewis is my favorite but everyone who work at the Branch have positive attitudes, even the call center. Thanks Extra Credit Union for giving Customers a 2nd chance My Credit Score is way better and continue to go up. I must say Lisa does a awesome job as well.

Very good credit union to put your money in and they really work with you. Never had a problem with any load, auto or personal and were always will to help out. I alway hear friends crazy story about other union/banks and I can not say I have nothing but good things to say about extra credit union
