Having gone through the mortgage process multiple times in the past I can say that, without a doubt, working with Chris at Union Home Mortgage was far and away our best experience to date. The stream of communication and the weekly status updates to both us and our realtor was wonderful; our realtor remarked that the communication alone blew every other lender she had worked with out of the water. Chris was very friendly and professional. Our entire process was smooth and painless; I never felt like we were being put on the back burner. The best part?! We closed in three weeks. What a great experience working with his gentleman. I am retired Army and we were financing through a VA Loan. Chris not only took the time to explain everything that could go right and wrong with a VA loan, but he took out all of the guesswork and anxieties that come with this type of loan as well.
