WPCU pre-approved me for a car loan as long as I put 20% down. Well that would’ve been $1,720 – they never said the pre-approval could change. And I told them I planned on putting $2,000 down. I worked out my budget and I would’ve been completely fine with that so I planned accordingly. When it was time to sign the paperwork – Oh hey yeah about that 20%, we actually need you to put $3,000 down which is 35%. That put me an entire month cycle of bills behind. Given my current car broke down beyond repair, I had no choice I HAD to take this. Being a victim of identity theft at a younger age it was making finding a car loan nearly impossible. Due to the 15% increase in the down payment required, I have put my student loans in forbearance and hit up a cash advance. I work in the finance industry - this is unnacceptable and if I did this and my boss became aware - I would probably face termination. This may or may not be the end of this complaint - I might move up their chain of command to see whom I can submit a formal complaint to in their company. Employee initials were GK in the Norwood Branch. Buyer Beware.

The service here is just horrrible. Everytime. They have new employees every month. The wait is always ridiculous. AND they only have one teller right now to complete shared banking transactions. This makes the wait time even longer. Dont go here if you can help it. They dont value your time.

I have used this branch for share branching, and have been favorably impressed when I walked into the branch. There usually is no teller designated exclusively for the drive-thru, so there is a lag before the teller gets away from inside business.
