The team at Academy Mortgage is very knowledgeable, patient, understanding while always looking for your best interest first. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Everyone was really attentive to our needs and concerns. Academy Mortgage always took the time and effort to show us specific details, especially since I was a first time home buyer and was nervous about many parts to the procedure. Even after I have purchased our home, Academy Mortgage still helps us with any questions or concerns, always going above and beyond customer service. It could not have gone any better or smoother! Thanks again to Dustin and the staff. The videos from the marketing department are also extremely helpful and guide first time home buyers through the whole process. I am definitely recommending Academy Mortgage to any future home buyer here in Colorado Springs.

It went very smoothly. I had expected the process to be a lot more complex and complicated; however they provided step by step instructions that made it very simple. So simple in fact that I kept on asking them if I was missing anything or if there was something else I could be doing on my end. As it turns out, they had everything more then under control, and I was very pleased with the results. Also - they never kept me in the dark. Being a first-time buyer, this was very important to me. Thank you David and Kim! I have to disagree with the other review regarding David and Kim. I found them both knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, and as stated, made it very simple. Honestly, a trip to the DMV is more stressful and twice as convoluted. They were neither arrogant or rude, but refreshingly straightforward and down to earth.

If you want to save time go somewhere else. I have used this company, as well as some friends of mine, and definitely regret that decision. They wait till the last minute to ask for documents but expect you to give it to them right away. I understand there is a lot of paperwork, but they ask an hour before they close and want it or the proses is delayed. How is that my fault when you had all day to tell me which ones you needed? Then closing day comes after 90 days of this crap and that day they deny you. Like I said if you want to save time and stress go somewhere else.

She went above and beyond to secure my loan, even working on nights and weekends to make sure everything was good to go! I even closed a few days early!
