I see here that people have written nasty reviews of the service at Bartels Harley Davidson. I’m sure these people feel they had a bad experience there and were compelled to write to vent their dissatisfaction. Who can blame them? The truth is that for every one of them, there are a thousand happy people who got what they expected and went on their way only to come back again and again. I am one of these people. For twelve years now since I have been in California I have bought my Harleys and had them serviced at Bartels. Being a life long biker riding Harleys for thirty five years and having many friends in the local motorcycle world, my options to go a dozen other places are there for me. I don’t need them. I have a one stop place that is more than dependable. Bartels sales and service has always given me a feeling of family. As I go there frequently for bike service and many of the social and charity events they sponsor each year I have become friends with a large portion of their clientele. There are a lot of happy satisfied people in that group. Typically dissatisfaction comes from people with unrealistic expectations. I’m sorry that these disappointed people find it necessary to trash my friends. Perhaps they should try a little introspection. I have never seen anyone at Bartels come to work with a bad attitude to the customers. One thing I do know is, if you do happen to have a misunderstanding at Bartels, the owners and managers will do everything they can to be fair in making it right.

“After looking up reviews for a local Harley Service I decided to give Bartels a shot. Brought my bike in for the 1000 mile service and these guys are great. Not only did Daniel explain everything to me that would be serviced but I asked a lot of questions and they he was extremely helpful. They did a great job and I waited around for my bike for a couple hours. Inside they have tons of new and used bikes and was chatting with one of the parts guys Eli who was very knowledgeable as well. Hope to get some upgrades here for my 1st Harley in the future. As long as my experience was like that I will be a customer for life. Good job Bartels !”

I pretty much knew I would buy the bike I wanted if possible before I got there. It was an awesome experience from the moment I first sat on the bike, then heard it start up, then the test ride. Once we agreed that I would buy the bike, Jake made two or three trips to the floor manager to get the terms that I wanted. I got a good price on my trade-in and Dan F. hooked me up with a good warranty plan. The entire deal went smooth and took about three hours from start to finish. I really appreciate your professionalism, you are definitely the best of about four dealerships I have been aquatinted with since being an HD rider. Thanks!

...Bartels...I am at the most confident knowing TYRONE is doing the work on my 5k mile service on my Softail Deluxe, today!! That man IS GOOD!!!! He also installed a custom HD seat after my 5k that really turned this bike UP! Ill post a couple of photos here. After getting my chromed Screamin Eagle air filter and straight handle bars done there...exhaust is next! See you soon! Thanks Brian, Daniel and Ian for always the PRO service and getting it DONE!! The whole thing from spotting the bike to driving it off was just easy with no feeling of pressure. Rust let me "browse" before coming over and recognized me on my second visit. He was knowledgeable & worked around my many phone calls & emails and was there at "pick up" to attend to some last minute details. Ron Bartel made it obvious that he wanted to make me happy & was more than accomodating with my trade in. Dan got the paperwork done quickly. Josh was great in parts up to the very last minute.

Dan helped with the financing of my first Harley and he was great. I had an issue arise and called him for help. Not only did he help, but he went above and beyond in my book. Hey set me up with service and followed through, making sure I was taken care of and from there, the service department showed the same exemplary characteristics. The service department Takes care of business. My injured back and height was a pain whenever I rode. Kirk suggested a riser with a pullback. The Road King has a valance that prevents adding risers...or so I thought. Kirk knew of an obscure Harley Davidson replacement valance that allows the swap. Now when I ride I am no longer leaning forward in pain. Riding is great again.

Bartels harley is a great place to get your bike serviced. Went in for my 5k they were extremely helpful and even spent the time to explain certain things to me as well as maintenance tips. I rode away comfortable and confident my bike is running top notch. Also their store has a huge variety of clothes parts and accessories. Customer for life
