BUYER BEWARE! This company only seeks to take your money and not provide services. We had an emergency situation arise with our rental property and this company refused to reimburse for the repair that they allegedly cover under the contract. When my property manager called the agent she spoke with was rude and abrasive and refused to help. I tried calling as the purchaser of the warranty and was met with a very rude, combative agent who constantly interrupted me and made comments regarding my intelligence level. When I stated I would be contacting the BBB and also canceling my policy with them in favor of a company that actually cares for their customers, the agent told me to read the cancellation policy so I could at least do that correctly. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful attitude from the agent. They are losing my business just off the attitude of their representatives alone.

This has got to be the worse warranty company. They are deceptive, dishonest, and unreliable. They claim to be the best seven years in a raw. I don’t know which seven year, but definitely not the last seven years or the seven before. They are the worse company I have ever dealt with. Be very careful believing anything they tell you at the time you sign up. Also, the contractors they have are extremely bad. Sonoran Home Services are the one contractor they will send you when you need service. This company will create more problems and will leave you with bigger problems that you originally had. AHG will not honor their promises to fix problems. You will call them about Sonoran Home Services not fixing the problem and creating other problems and their response will be “not our problem.” Just save yourself and your property and don’t waste your money with this company!

Been with this company since we bought our home ok on minor jobs but when it comes to a service repair on a roof leak they not only delayed in getting someone out to fix the job but was then left with finding someone to do the repair by myself. Only to be met with paperwork that needs to be filed by a deadline date with proof of payment. Then even when the paperwork is being sent via certified mail for proof of receipt they give me a run around of 3 weeks stating they cannot locate the reimbursement request paperwork after i show proof of delivery. Then lo and behold they deny the claim and just like that my husband and I are out 1400 dollars. DO NOT trust this Warranty company with empty promises unless you want to spend addtl money than needed and be placed on hold for hours on end with no solution to your problem

I chose AHG because they are local to where I live in the east valley. Over 6 years they have been nothing but responsive to my needs. Repairs are done in an orderly fashion, and their service people have been super to deal with -many giving me their cell number to call if there is an issue. Good people. Lets be honest, things are not made as well as they used to be, so things break a lot more and more often. It is not the fault of the warranty company. I think people forget that fact. All I can say is they are local, responsive, and have never let me down. The people I have dealt with are incredibly nice and friendly, and try to settle things quickly. I will never go somewhere else.

Very bad experience using AHG. I bought 3 years of home warranty. First time was a ceiling fan issue, they send a guy here and said it is receiver issue and not covered. The AC check up guy came ans pretty much did nothing. This year our water heater has issue. They scheduled a company here which never contacted us. We had to call and schedule anothet company. Jab electronic came and did not event look in detail. No paperwork was done and said it is covered by warranty and left. Then three weeks later nothing was happening, I called CSR and they say it is not covered. What a joke. Do not waste your time with this company.

I would give 0 Stars but it is not possible. This company is a joke. recently had an above ground pipe break on my Pool and they refused to fix the part. The real kicker is they charge $100 to come out and tell you they can not fix it. I had this same fitting fixed for $150 about 2 years ago and figured hey I pay for a warranty now so why not use it...BIG mistake now I am out $100 and have to pay another ~$150 to have it fixed again. Will be cancelling this as soon as my year is up. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Home Warranty look elsewhere it will save you money in the long run!!!

I received a phone call from my property management company that my AC was not working at my rental property...I gave them the number to my warranty company - American Home Guardian and in less than 4 hrs everything was fixed! A repair man was sent out and the AC was working in no time. Even my property management company was shocked with the quick turn around. Amazing Service! Highly recommend American Home Guardian!

I WANT TO WARN ANY ONE LOOKING FOR A HOME WARRANTY. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE "AMERICAN HOME GUARDIAN." IT IS A VERY BAD CHOICE. THEY DO NOT HONOR THERE AGREEMENT WITH YOU. THEY PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING AND WHEN ITS TIME FOR THEM TO HELP WITH THE WARRANTY ITEMS, THEY GIVE YOU A LINE OF BS AND THEN DISCONNECT YOUR CALLS. THEN IT TAKES AN ARM AND A LEG TO GET A REFUND. YOU ARE PRE-WARNED. BUYER BEWARE.

This is not a good company because they increase your premium every year and is very restrictive on what they cover. Their contact is design to secure your premium and paid-out nothing. They even charge me for a technicians who were not needed for a repairs. I would not recommend this company.
