My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Westwood Mortgage for over a decade and we wouldn’t work with anyone else. We have done many, many transactions with Westwood over the past ten plus years; including new purchases and refinances. Tom Schwab and his team continue to absolutely delight us with their professionalism, and expertise! My husband and I are small business owners, home owners, and investors and our finances can be complicated, but Tom & team always find a way to make it happen. In any lending environment, Tom keeps up on the latest laws and news and stays at the top of the industry. When lending was “loose” and crazy loan programs abound, we relied on Tom for his high integrity and business acumen to keep us in reliable programs for the long run. When lending tightened up and it became hard for even very qualified applicants to get loans, we again relied on Tom. Tom is the consummate professional and he is amazing at what he does. He is one of the good guys and someone that you want on your team! We will entrust our lending needs to him & Westwood Mortgage for as long as they are in business; and we will continue to recommend them to our friends and family, as we have done all along.

We have worked with Westwood Mortgage twice. Our mortgage loan originator was Patrick Dunn. The first time was to take advantage of low interest rates. We were very pleased with Westwood Mortgage all the way through the process. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful whenever we had a question. Calls and emails were quickly returned and they worked with our schedules when it came time to drive into Seattle to sign papers. In July 2014 I worked with Steve Daley and Tom Schwab of Westwood Mortgage on a new home loan. This was my second positive experience with Steve and Westwood Mortgage. After a less than professional experience buying my first house I decided to do a bit more research for my next purchase. I came across Westwood Mortgages and gave them (plus three other places) a call to see how they were. My expectations was for a mortgage company to be responsive, informative, and educational. They met and exceeded all three criteria. At one point during my negotiations my primarily contact had gone on vacation, which everyone deserves. During that time I was serviced by the company owner. He took the time to explain all the details of a deal and various options available. Wonderful for him to take the time to help. As a first time home buyer, the mortgage application process was as quick and painless as I could have hoped for. My broker, Steve, helped me get a great loan easily. One of the things that I liked most was that he explained at a high level what each document that I was about to sign meant. This enabled me to get through the copious amounts of paperwork quickly while simultaneously educating me about the paperwork and making me feel like I still have a measure of control over the process. I also liked the fact that he helped me find a loan that struck the right balance between interest rate and closing costs. Will definitely be going to them if I need another mortgage again.

Westwood did a great job taking care of us! We came to them with a very short timeline for our mortgage and Brett Bly was not afraid to take it on! Brett got everything done and taken care of and we closed on time! Communication was very clear and concise and Brett was able to answer all of my many questions very adeptly. My only complaint was that getting ahold of Brett (via phone, text, or email) was always very hit and miss, and often delayed by several hours, but, as I said, once we got connected, he proved that he knew exactly what he was doing.
