Creekside mortgage has been the only company my husband and I will deal with when it comes to getting financed for a home or just refinancing our home. We have been happy customers for 11 years. We called them in reference to getting a home improvement type of loan and not only did they work hard in getting this done in a timely matter but Kerry also made sure he found us the best rating. One of the things that keep us going back is that Kerry knows exactly who we are when we call, he talks to my husband and is really interested in how he is doing, no matter how long it has been since the last conversation. Creekside did all of this from Washington Sate, paying for the papers to be fedexed as well as helping us get my husbands compensation papers from the VA. They kept in contact with us almost on a daily basis every step of the way. I feel like they are an extended part of my family. They love our veterans and really do want to help them with not only the process of qualifying for a home but getting the best rate as well. Everyone works so hard there for the veterans and you can tell it! We get a Christmas card every year from them every year and will continue to do business with them as well as pass their names on to others, as they really do love our veterans and their families!

The financing portion of our home buying experience was more enjoyable and stress free than I ever could have imagined. We recently went through Creekside Mortgage to secure a VA home loan. Kerry and Kim really went out of their way to make sure our complicated transaction went smoothly and even gave us the option of closing almost a week early (even our realtor was surprised at how smoothly it went). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy with a VA loan. Our situation included selling a home that was currently using our VA entitlement and getting our funding re-established in a matter of days in order to purchase a new home that was closing in the same week. Since this wasn’t a run of the mill refi, it was important that we went with a knowledgeable team that specialized in VA loans. Other lenders said we would have to work with the VA directly to get our funding reinstated and that it could take weeks - but Kerry and Kim at Creekside told us they would handle it and that it wouldn’t be a problem. It wasn’t and they took care of everything - I would definitely work with Creekside Mortgage again!

Most of the time I do not post reviews or look at them. But in this case I needed to post a review. First I would say that Creekside Mortgage is the place to go for a VA home loan. Kerry and his staff are the best in my eyes. They have a lot of experience, expertise and very knowledgeable of what is needed to get the loan. What I liked is Kerry would work hard for you and was their for you any time. Creekside Mortgage (Kerry and Nicolle), was right on the money with what they needed to get us approved. They handle everything and was their every step of the process. Some times I think they worked beyond what other mortgage places do. We closed less then 25 days (give or take a few days) also got our keys 11 days early. I would most definitely recommend Creekside Mortgage to anyone. Why not use a team that is fantastic and highly quality. They will take care of all your needs and treat you with respect. "Good Job Creekside Mortgage" and a BIG THANK you to Kerry and Nicolle for a job well done.

Yesterday our dream came true as we closed and recorded on our new home and property. We can honestly say that our dream would never have come true if it wasn’t for Kerry and Michelle from Creekside Mortgage and our realtor Robin Conrad from Expert Realty NW. As a veteran I was looking for a team that I could trust, that would shoot straight with me, and would go to work getting us what we really wanted in a property. Creekside’s team showed integrity and responsiveness right from the start. Kerry worked with us to find the absolute best rate possible and Michelle worked to ensure all the documentation the underwriter could possible need was done. Robin spent hours driving us around most of Clark County and helped lead us to the perfect property. The entire team was always prompt, responsive, and courteous. I hired another mortgage company to handle my VA loan....what a nightmare. The company I had hired couldnt even get the certificate of eligability. I called the VA and they said I should call creekside. I called them and Elissa had my COE within minutes. (after waiting for a week with the other company). I wasnt even a customer of theirs. I have purchased 5 homes in the past and have NEVER been treated as well as Creekside..... REMEMBER im not even a client. I fired my current mortgage company and called creekside but unfortunatly they dont do manufactured homes however ELISSA referred me immediately to someone else who jumped right in and is helping us. Another time I called here to see if they knew what the guidelines were for VA appraisals on manufactured homes and a gentleman helped me and knew all the answers to my questions. He even sent me the actual VA guidelines. If you went with another company you would be a fool.

I want to start by saying that I found them through a list of veteran friendly companies put out by the red cross. I was working with another mortgage broker at the moment, but was unhappy with the lack of customer service I was getting from them. I called and immediately felt at home. I knew that I Had found a team of experts that would help me buy a house in the crazy housing market that is Portland. Mike Frakes is by far the most caring and honest person I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He single handedly made the home buying process a people friendly transaction. He also secured the BEST rate imaginable!! He saved me thousands of dollars over the life of my loan due to his dedication to getting the best for his clients. I would absolutely recommend Mike and the entire team at Creekside to any Veteran buying a home in the area. I would recommend this team to anyone who is buying a house

I contacted Creekside Mortgage in early April in hopes of getting some more information about current VA loan programs and was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge that Kerry and his team offered. After getting some prelimenary info to Elisa at Creekside, we were approved for our loan amount and ready to make an offer on a house - all within one week! We knew the house we wanted to put an offer on and Elisa put in some extra work going above (10 pm on a Friday night!) and beyond to make sure we were pre-qualified so the seller would take us seriously. We closed on our house two days ago and can hardly believe how quickly it all went - I believe the process took less than one month, perhaps a new world record?! Kerry and his team have been a pleasure to work with and truly went above and beyond to make sure the home buying process was a success for us. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

This is the 5th home for which we have applied for financing. Working with the folks at Creekside was an experience of the highest quality and our best one by far. The expertise was obvious. At least 3 other mortgage professionals told us that we could not do what was quickly done for us at Creekside. The staff was gracious, flexible, responsive and understanding. There was a clear sense that Kerry Greenwald and his excellent staff were actually looking out for our best interests. Given the expected obstacles when obtaining a mortgage, this was about as painless as we could have imagined. Also, (Did we forget to mention it?) the whole process transpired much more quickly than we had even hoped for. Our only regret is that we didn’t begin with Creekside from the very start of our home purchase and finance journey. Return to Creekside for further assistance? It’s a “no brainer”…. Yes, 100% Yes!

This was my first experience in using my VA home loan to purchase a home. I did a lot of research, but I also got a lot of different answers. The process was somewhat bewildering at first, but the people at Creekside Mortgage made the process quite easy. They were upfront from the beginning, which meant a lot to me. I appreciate all the time and effort that Nicolle and Kerry put forth in helping me with the paperwork. Nicolle was always there to answer any questions I had, either by email or by phone. I also appreciate Kerry and his finding the loan and also getting me a very good APR as well. I also want to thank the Creekside office staff for their professionalism as well. I would have no issues about recommending Creekside Mortgage to my friends. Creekside Mortgage take the mystery out of the VA home loan homebuying process.

I came to Mike as a navy Vet with a marginal credit report at the age of 40+ The only things that I had going for me was a good job and a true desire to continue my american dream Mike was very aware that I could qualify for more loan than I could handle over the long haul... He made sure that I was in agreement and understanding of the master plan that he put together. I am in my home that I love and will have for the remainder of my long haul. Mike still checks-up on me, when the time was right to get me into a refi that would be the lowest rate I could ever imagine. He handeled that in the same professional way that he does everything. Nothing short of Outstanding service in the most professional manner. It is refreshing to know that there are professionals like this setting the bar.
